Watching Milwaukee‘s draft position and hoping the previous trade has some kind of “in good faith” trade as part of it.

I see throughout the years many posters here complain about picking long boys with defensive potential, long arms and super athletic. Now, we pick the different breed for change and some of the same people over here are already starting to complain about not picking a guy with size. We just got a natural scorer and player with actual basketball skills and people are bitch**g about him being undersized, not high enough etc.
Come on guys, no need to turn the hate up like you did with Jameer in the beginning and late in his Magic career.
I hope Cole proves all haters wrong and becomes an all star in a Magic uni.

Magic fans would not be happy with anything

yeah, I get that. I also complain about a bunch of stuff with our roster and franchise, but at least wait to see him on the floor.
So far he looks like a player who is uber motivated and will play with a chip on his shoulder, ready to learn and improve under a professional coaching staff.
Don't forget, he comes from a basketball family, Greg Anthony is his father. He has knowledge of the game and NBA lifestyle since he was a kid, he seems prepared for the next level which usually is a big concern and a huge challenge for a lot of young players that are one-and-done prospects.
Also, his style of play and skills compliment Fultz and fit our needs.
I'm excited, not all in the Magic community are, but let's not hate on the guy without a reason.

I really wish we'd jump back into the end of 1st or 2nd and get a guy like Desmond Bane to play SF.

I don't want to be that guy, but Markelle can guard 2s in a lineup while Cole guards PGs. This is our back court now and I'm fine with it. Guy is a super competitor who knows he was bad last year and will come out with a lot to prove this year.

Looking forward to December even more now.

Really thought that AG would be moved today not disappointed or anything but seemed like there have been so many rumors about it.

Wonder what the plan with that is ?

I am not going to get down, they got a guard that doesn't appear to be injured. They could have easily done worse.

Cole isn’t a combo guard.
He was massively uninspiring against college competition. Is he big enough to get to the rim ? Who knows.
Shot selection is questionable.
Pounds the ball.

I could go on.

Especially if really try to trade the expiring contract of Fournier.
He'd be a good fit next to Fultz. Markelle can take on the bigger guys and SGs on the opposing team on defense and then switch with Cole on offense who can play off the ball. They will be a double threat on offense and the other team won't be able to lay off on any one of them. We didn't have that dynamic in the last 6-7 years after the good season of Afflalo.

I'd love to get Bane, or hell, even McDaniels.

He has the "it factor" when he plays Which honestly is exactly what this team needs. Whether that hurts him or not we will find out.

I see a guy that can come in and if everything clicks could be one of the better pg in the league. Its a 15 pick not a top 10. With picks pike that you kinda should be swinging for the fences with a team in desperate need of talent. To me cole Anthony was them swinging for it. Well see how this turns out but it could be a sneaky good pick for this team.

You might be right. Fultz stardom is not guaranteed, his tenure with the Magic might end surprisingly quick if the right deal comes along and the FO don't believe so strongly in him as some might think.
I still believe he will be given a fair chance and credit of trust to prove himself here, heeeell....he became the starting PG here after his what???...3rd or 4th game coming after TOS rehab.
I hope we have our backcourt set for years to come. Improved Fultz jump shot and awareness, a little bit more polished and experienced Cole...watch out for that high-energy dynamic monster duo.

If cole was just 2 inches taller with all his accolades hr would be the perfect 2 guard we all we've been dreaming of and none of us would be complaining.

Oh well, i will give him a chance.

Actually, Cole's coming out after injury, but healthy now and ready to go. Nothing like Chuma or Isaac.

No need to get rid of Fultz even if he never regains his 3pt. At worst he is our backup PG for a long time.

Funny enough, Anthony and Fultz are similar players.

Lastly, if this lets us move on from Evan faster, I’m cool with it all.

I expect to be watching Buddy Ball until I'm well into my adult diapers stage of life.

Minny getting Edwards, Rubio, and McDaniels on draft night. Their team will be interesting.

Hennigan players are like cockroaches. They’ll survive everything that happens here.
