Maxey apparently compares to Beal, Lowry... Does that sound right?

Lowry and Beal seem like way too good of shooters for a comparison unless you have reason to believe he’s much better than the 29% he shot from college 3.

I wanna say Marcus smart because of body type but Maxey is faster and a better scorer off the dribble.

I just hope he can be like a Jamal Crawford type. High energy bench player than can give us 20 mins of instant offense a night

Lowry was NOT a good shooter coming out of college.

Maybe a bigger Kyle Lowry. That fits for Maxey.

I see him as an ideal 3rd guard to start and IF he can clean up that form a little bit on that shot, then he's what we thought Fultz would be as a running mate for Simmons.

At 21 they couldn't have possibly done any better. For the entire day with the Horford move they so far deserve an A- at minimum.

it's amazing that you can predict the future that a player will have a mental breakdown ruin his ability to shoot a basketball but couldn't see that signing Al Horford was a disastrous move and thought the Sixers were favorites in the East.

BTW, Tyrese Maxey does play a bit like Fultz did at UW (Fultz obviously much better and higher usage). Maybe didn't shoot the absurd percentages, but would get wherever he wanted on the court. So it should be nice for Embiid to have a guy who can get into the lane.
