Really dug watching minny during his first go-round. Hope he fits in and the two youngins take a big step.

Yeah, I like him as a backup.
I read he’s a potential CJ McCollum comp. Apparantly has bulked up and grown an inch since the season ended.

Interesting. Hope he’s available. I also read he had like the highest basketball IQ general managers had seen in whatever standardized test they use. Which may mean nothing considering getting a high score on the wonderlic usually isn’t helpful in football. But I still always like to see it.

Agreed. I read the same thing. I’ve definitely had my fill of low IQ point guards.

Wonder what really happened with the knicks trading up and then trading back. Must have missed out on their guy.

Who did giannis remind you of? Nokic? Porzingis?
Who do the remaining players in this draft remind you of? Because they remind me of second rounders in almost every other draft.
Swing away, Sam. Swing away.
I believe Giannis was compared to Batum. Jokic to Gasol. Porzingis was the unicorn of course, because there's no 100% rule.
I'm not saying this is who I thought those guys would become, but they had successful nba comps that you could at least envision.
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

That's his sister, and she's amazing.

That Jokic/gasol comparison is god awful. I guess batum makes sense.

That's what I read too. Better clear cap space then.

Ball and Toppin were the two I heard linked that I thought were from credible sources.

Not really, similar body types at draft time, both good passers and able to score from the floor around the rim, pretty easy to see jokic's best case growing into that even if it was completely unlikely.

What are you guys referring to? Have been watching Down to Dunk stream on YouTube instead of draft coverage most of the night. So been kinda spotty for me on what's happened.

Toppin was from the athletic podcast. His agent has ties to the Knicks. Can’t remember the source for ball of the top of my head. The

You mean jokic at draft time had a similar body as pau when he was a vet? Because pau’s bodytype at draft was closer to poku’s. Aside from being euros who can pass (and at way different levels), I don’t see much similarity in either their games or body types.
But regardless, like I’ve said, boom or bust. It’s not much of a gamble in a bad draft, in my opinion.
