Must be for Seth Curry or Delon Wright.
Drafting Terry makes Seth dispensible.

Hate seeing Seth go but everyone here was upset about not picking Bey so he must be somewhat decent and I've liked Richardson for many years, if he can lift his 3pt % a little this will be big time.

Not a fan of this trade Curry stretched the defenses better. Richardson is an inconsistent shooter.

Richardson is starting over Finney Smith. Its Terry who is replacing Curry in the lineup off the bench. You have to look at it that way.

Yeah, shooting took a huge hit. But we need players like Richardson. Hopefully he plays better in RC's system.

Between the 3 picks we added vs losing Seth I'm not sure it did overall. But yes Seth is definitely by far the best individual shooter of the bunch.

Best shooter of the bunch but not the best player. That’s Richardson.

It is what it is I didn't like THJ and he turned out great. Hoping the same for Richardson. Maybe he'll do better with Luka and RC. Luka brings out the best in players.

I dunno, Richardson kinda sucked in Philly. At least in the games I've watched. I'm optimistic that he'll play better with RC on the helm.

Good news is that apparently Richardson and Luka trained together before, so there might be some chemistry there on day 1.

Yea but keep in mind that team was a train wreck. The year before that he played great in Miami.

KP/Boban
Maxi/Powell
DFS/Richardson
THJ/Richardson
Luka/Brunsson/Wright
With Bey+Green+Terry
What else do we need? 2 bugs? 1 big and a wing? 1 big and Burke? 2 wings? A wing and a guard?

Re: Trade Central 19-20 / cap info (pg.1)
Hate this move.
Curry was a perfect fit with this roster and had a fantastic contract. Richardson flatters to deceive, when you get into the numbers on him, he really is not impactful at all, I used to quite like him but when you dig into it he just doesn't impact the game.

I think overall it's a +.
Curry's floor spacing will be easily replaced by Terry. Curry doesnt play defense and despite shooting well he will give up the same number of points on defense. We addressed that need tonight. Curry's value wont go any higher than it is being 30 and all. Mavs sold high and cashed in.
2020 Josh Richardson is a product of the Brett Brown system and that was a train wreck. Poor spacing, no point guard, tried out Ben Simmons at PF. Joel Embiid hanging out at the 3 point line too often. Now Richardson just got a coaching upgrade. Did I tell you he' also a Bill Duffy client? Same agent as Luka.

You don't replace one of the single greatest volume shooters in NBA with a rookie second rounder. Curry is also a respectable defender and a good enough secondary ball handler.
Richardson has been inefficient his whole career and the advanced numbers show him as a nudge below league average his whole career.
He's intriguing, but he's never impacted winning.

I guess it all comes down to the Mavs selling high. The value for Curry will not go higher than it is now. In his 30s with a stress fracture in his leg bone. They just cashed him in while there is some value to get back.

Curry is not a good defender.
