I guess we're not getting the answer on this trade any time soon?

Theo, Seth Curry... got rid of Horford so they can actually play Tobias where he thrives at PF.
Morey may actually be the best GM in the league. Presti is great too but holy ****. What an impact.
I hate that they know what they're doing now.
Morey is a great GM but IDK If these moves are the strokes of genius that you're making them out to be.
Take a spin through the general trades & transactions board. Attach asset(s) to Horford for a smaller contract who fits better was posted everyday. There are probably no less than 100,000 Richardson for Curry threads. These were kind of "no duh" moves made so far. Whether Morey was there or not even Brand would have been smart enough to do these himself. Dumbasses like us on Internet forums thought of these deals too haha
Brand wasn't even smart enough to not give Horford 100 million, you think he'd be able to trade him for a better player?
I mean, it's very clear it didn't work. Like I said, both those trades are moves that realGM posters like us came up with in the general board. I'm just saying I don't look at either of them as indicative of genius GMing. Not that Morey isn't great, it's just not anything special to me with either deals. Good deals that were obvious to pursue and make.

We have to reduce the expectations as fans down from Championships, to competitive ECF.
Danny Ainge isn't this GN Wizards.
We are sort of a treadmill team right now who's entire Championship hope lies essentially on Jaylen and Jayson becoming top 15 players. While also hoping the league mvps don't continue to team up.
It's a simple trutg. The Boston Celtics are NOT a Championship organization who makes Championship Calibur decisions as of right now.

To be fair Jayson Tatum is already top 15

He IS TJ McConnell, just a slight worse passer and shoots it more often.
In other words, we lit a pick on fire, because Wanamaker is a no-doubt better player.
He plays nothing like TJ lol. McConnell couldn't shoot at all whereas Pritchard is one of the best shooters in the draft and was PAC-12 POY.
Just admit you haven't watched him it's fine. No need to pretend.
They are both white, undersized PGs that are "scrappy" and "gym rats". The comparison is apt.
(I already admitted I've never watched him play).

Must be in place of it. The Utah 1st was always too much to hope for.

Lights out shooter and can run the 2nd unit. How is that a bad pick?
Pritchard is feisty as fck. New fan favorite fo sure
When thinking about all the possibilities for tonight, I'll admit getting a "feisty" 23 y.o. guard wasn't at the top of my wish list. Is he any better than Waters or Edwards because neither of those guys got any run last year. Either we blew the picks on those guys or we blew the pick on this guy because we have about 20 mpg for them to split somehow assuming Wanamaker is gone. Awful!
Pritchard was one of the best players in the country, 5 players in line for the Naismith Award that Opi Toppin won. Player of the Year in a major conference. He is a 4 year player but he is the same age as Toppin. I get it is a reach but you are at the end of the round this when you go for the guy who happens to be a good shooter who can run an offense.

Yo, when was Daryl Morey's last championship? It's funny because I read lots of people riding his jock.
Are u implying that he’s not a good gm? Lol. Ainge only has 1 ring in 17 years....rings are a great barometer for players not management. We both know ainge is a very good gm and so is Morey.
One ring with two finals appearances in 17 years in a WEAKER conference... He has hit on some , like Brown and Tatum, but his misses have been brutal (Olynk over Giannis, Fab Melo over Draymond) and his lack of moves to help the team in-season have just been a killer.
When they won the ring was the East the weaker conference?
As soon as you bring up Giannis and Draymond you lose the argument. Silly crying season. Criticize Ainge when it is appropriate. Not trading Kyrie early enough, not acquiring talent at last year's trading deadline, but to bring up Giannis and Draymond? That's amateur hour.
