I don't hate this for Philly. I'm not sure they should've had to add the pick, but we're quickly getting to the might not make the roster part of the draft. They needed the shooter and their earlier pick made J. Rich expendable. He clearly wasn't in their future plans.

They need more shooters and got a good one.

People were on here suggesting Portland would be better with J-Rich instead of CJ McCollum. But now J-Rich requires a 2nd rounder to land Curry, CJ's previous backup. Wow...

I like this for both teams. 76ers add their Redick replacement a year late but who is on a great contract. Dallas gets possibly their SF for the future.

If you look back, multiple people have been saying Portland would be in better shape with Curry than CJ, as CJ is absolutely not worth his salary premium over Curry. I'm not sure how CJ is relevant here though. :lol:
