We have now selected 5 players in the last 3 years who had a 0% chance of becoming an nba rotation-level player with tons of them available to be had

That's, uh, quite definitive of you.

6-7 Ball handler / creator. Watching tape now. So far I like him a lot. Knee injury 2 months ago.

I mean the second round is perplexing. But how can you not be excited about Poku?

Please tell me they can dump Horford somewhere. I don't want that dude here at this point.

I’m probably the least confident that he’s moved this year of all the non building block guys.

If Horford somehow leads this team to the 10th seed and we win the play in tournament them I'm gonna be both perplexed and amused.

As presti would say, there's no such thing as halfway crooks.

Honestly Think he's targeting more foreign and hometown players in the hopes that they're more likely to stay.

I’m down with that. I think fit is huge for this market.

We'd have to pay to move him, which defeats the purpose of bringing him in.

Focus on ball handling and passing... from guys who are pretty big. I like it. The design has changed some.

Krejci attacks and has the skills needed. I thought of a young Brent Berry. He is going to get a lot of fans. Poku has competition. The other guys will get fans too.

Looks like they bought on a guy just beginning to show out, before the rest of league was ready or awake.

Full disclosure, last time I was more excited about a 2nd rounder than a first was semaj over mcgary

And maybe you expected him instead of Poku at first round.
Poku is a great potential but essentially played in greek 2d level, not euroleague...
Maledon is the steal of this draft. This guy only speaks on the court, and with an injury at the beginning of last season, COVID crisis when he reached his level, and a draft process off the court, he felt. But I couldn't imagine such a fall. I mean IMO he is same level than Killian Hayes. But I imagine playing Euroleague or Eurocup is the same thing in GMs' mind ...
LA 2028 (Starters):
Francisco - Strazel - Malédon - Traoré ?
Coulibaly - Fournier
Risacher - Cordinier
Yabusele- Hoard - Essengue/Penda?
Wembanyama - Lessort - Raynaud / Beringer /Sarr?

The more Poku I watch the more excited I get. Presti may end up looking like a genius in a couple of years. I mean he's already obviously a genius but this kid looks special. He's as a quick as a 6ft guard only he's 7ft. I think we got a steal boys.

Thunder also signing Josh Hall. 6-9 perimeter, under 200 lbs, out of prep school. Another promise probably. Fluid, skilled, good shot. Apparently recruiting ranked about 40th. Looks good. Fairly thin but seems fairly strong occasionally when he wants to show it, having good shoulders. Bazley will have competition in practice.

Circling back to this. All I’ve seen are highlights which is a terrible way to judge a prospect. And what I’m about to say is ridiculous, but I will anyways. He doesn’t remind me of giannis. He reminds me of a less offensively skilled, more defensively minded (at least to start his career) Durant. He’s more fluid than explosive. He’s extremely comfortable passing and dribbling. Has flair and confidence. If you’re ok with comparing jokic to gasol, I think this is an appropriately leveled reach. Youngest dude in the draft with the most room to improve on his body.

He’s already lifting. There are clips of him doing so in a highlight video. That’s encouraging. But his form is really bad. I want him in a better strength program so he doesn’t hurt himself. I’d prefer he was stashed for a year or two, but not if the current strength program is the one he’d be in. I don’t think he needs to add 40 pounds. 25 seems more realistic. I really doubt being a physical player is in his future. He’s a stretch 4.

I love the pick given the context of this draft. Love the big swings on all the picks. I think presti should gamble with a lot of the upcoming picks and be ok with whiffing.

Again, I’ve just seen highlights but I like all the picks.

Apparantly Vit Krejci‘s knee injury was an acl and happened in September.

I had Krejci in the early 30s before I learned of the injury. He's got really good feel and reminds me of a young AK47. He'll be nice 2-guard if he can put on a little weight and shoot it more consistently. But he's really skilled.

By the way, you nailed the quickly pick. First rounder and drafted by okc. Kind of.

At least that injury isn't what it used to be. Seems like guys bounce back from that more often than not.
