I was down on the idea of trading up for Haliburton, but getting him at 12 without giving up anything is the ideal situation. Very excited to see what that backcourt rotation can do.

With the Haliburton pick, offloading Buddy becomes more a priority now, imo.

Depending what happens with the RFA market, Bogi can stay or go. I prefer him to stay but if we can squeeze out a decent young player that fits the timeline with Fox, you gotta do it, imo.

On paper, Fox and Haliburton backcourt looks good.

I wonder what the market for Buddy will look like?

Fox and Haliburton compliment each other so well. I'm beyond excited.

No idea.

Buddy is owed $86m for the next 4 years. He has bonuses/incentives up to $20m built in his contract. And unfortunately, Buddy has become a malcontent dude that wants out of here. If I was the GM, give me something that gets rid of that contract, and I pull the trigger.

Apparently, the Kings traded their #35 to Memphis?

Man apparently we traded down from 35 to 40. I would much rather have had Xavier Tillman than Robert Woodard.

There is still a lot of talent on this board for the final two slots

Solid value to pick up Jah'mius Ramsey at 43 in my opinion. I like this pick.

It looks like the Kings are loading up with perimeter players with their second rounders so far. I guess they are thinking about the Bogdan and Buddy trade situations?

Bogdan is gone. That bridge is somewhere down in the ravine. Tyrese can play next to Fox or Buddy so it's a perfect fit. No reason to move Buddy at the moment.

I give the Kings front office an A grade for this one. That's probably a first for Viveks tenure when the pick wasn't an obvious one.

Aside from personal preference, the market will dictate that to some degree

BOgi is just more movable

With Haliburton as the pick Bogdan just became null in the rotation. And I think Bogdan backed out because he thinks somebody is going to offer some serious dough.

Idk I'm kinda the opposite. Hoping we keep Bogdan and move Buddy for even minimal value at this point.

That is unless the Milwaukee trade still goes thru. But losing Bogdan for nothing will hurt.

Now if we get DDV and this was a smoke screen because tampering, then that will be really nice. DDV/Fox/Tyrese would be an awesome back court to watch these coming years. Kinda undersized but lots of talent and complimentary skill sets
