no one knows when the double draft is

2022 was supppose to be the double draft.

Right, but they've recently said it doesn't look like it's happening for 2022. I wonder if the connected people already know?

This was a bad draft, mostly because it means RW will likely come here for those Mavs futures.

we traded 33 for a slim chance the picks is better than 33...its most likely worse...makes no sense.

It gives you 3 more years as trade chip better than some bum big

you're looking at it from a pure numbers perspective and not from the perspective that perhaps they believe this draft sucked and they didn't like anybody that was available and that it's also another trade asset that may not even be used by the knicks in 2023

Why are we acting like Rose will even be here in 2023?

Could be a loaded draft with good players falling as high school kids dominate the lottery

My only guess at why we do this

without a guarantee that high school kids are in it it's a poor move. i'm not in fits over it. 2nd rounders are sold all the time, but we shouldn't be trying to save money here. knicks are a talent starved team.

and usually an early 2nd should net 2 2nds

I don’t understand it b/c it’s not like 2nds won’t be available that year. Just trying to make basketball sense of it

With the Knicks it’s a full time job

I can't say I would have been pumped to know we ended up with a Toppin/Quickly draft. Oh well

This draft is mostly ass and y’all always hype it up every year

Maybe 2023 will be better. A second round then might be worth it

I’m willing to be open minded to giving Leon and this new regime a shot to shape this team how they see fit. I have to say this draft left me with more questions than answers as to what the plan is here, but I’m really really really hoping the team makes some noise by turning over their roster to reshape it towards the future. Get the junk out and get some new guys.

Failing that, I have no idea what the plan is. We can’t trot out the same team we had last year. Something has got to give.

Bro you spazzing, go to bed, or better yet pick a new team to root for, if having a solid if not spectacular draft is giving you this much trouble.

it's pretty clear the guy they wanted at 33 was gone so they punted it for the best price they could get.

Honestly, I hope someone in the media has the balls to ask Leon why their coaching, FO hires/picks are almost all CAA/Kentucky affiliated
