It's possible they will both be traded again but they are both assets.

yeah, assets to acquire more future 2nd rounders

Or to use in Trades or maybe move up in the second round.

Options.............

I love how people can now see the future off of a simple move.

Lawd knows what else might happen in the next few hours. I swear... damned if they do.... damned if they don't. hahah

Would have gladly selected Jordan Nwora, Cassius Stanley, Grant Riller, Nico Mannion, Paul Reed, etc. with the 45th pick...

Jay Scrubb would be the perfect 2nd round prospect for a team like ours

I love how the 76ers have room for 4 draft picks....but our team is too deep to bring in a 2nd rounder......AGAIN? such a joke

I will say that Boston traded 30 for 2 future 2nds so maybe in the future we can use our future seconds to steal someone at the end of the draft.

Yup.... cuz they for sure need to as they have over 100 million dollars committed to simmons, embiid, richardson and tobias. They can't afford to do anything else than invest in cheaper bodies at the minimum. We will be at 13 for sure players once you add anthony and okeke. so yep.... give flexibility them flexibility for this season.... while giving additional options for the future.

I swear to god... if a decent player is on the board at 45..

Like the midget PG Markus Howard? Or the robotic C Nick Richards?

We don’t know how the draft will shake out.

Cassius Stanley, Paul Reed, Riller, etc etc.

It’s a low risk high reward situation they choose to continually punt on. This organization can’t afford to pass on maximizing potential talent at the expense of a draft pick.

I like how I said this and all of these players were still on the board at #45 hours later.

Why is Weltman so high on coveting roster spots when Orlando had arguably 4-5 players that should be in Lakeland? Logic is lacking.

What flexibility? we're over the cap as well (without stars like embiid and simmons to show for it) and cant add to talent to this team except with the MLE, so again, why wouldnt you take a shot on someone like scrubb, riller or Nwora for basically league min??

What good is a 2022 2nd rounder going to do? is that a real trade chip in your eyes? is that going to be the deal breaker in a trade for us?

Giving up 2nd round picks year in and year it and instead wasting salary and roster spots on overpaid backups like AMinu, DJ etc is why this team is in such bad shape with the cap

Out of the 4 prospects they've brought in over the 3 seasons they've been here those players have had 1 complete season between them.

You act like they drafted a core or Davis, George and Westbrook. All they did was flip a 2nd Rd pick. It's not worthy of praise or hate.

Well Isaac is still believed to be worth near max by John Hollinger even with the injury. Okeke seems to posses skillset no one really has this year and Bamba..... well i am not a huge fan but he showed flashes before the shutdown i cant deny.

I dont care about second round pick in a weak draft. If we didnt like anyone it was better to move it. Its not me who is acting like we traded prime Dwight Howard

Zaymon: posts his favorite second round targets for months, says this draft is deep through the second, says you can get a first round talent in the second

*orlando trades their second*

Zaymon: this draft sucks, it’s weak and it’s already flattened out

Solid posting bro

Hmmm maybe try to list guys i wanted in the second round ?
Tillie- undrafted
Dotson-undrafted
N'Doye-undrafted
Hinton-undrafted
Ty- Shon Alexander- undrafted

Saying i like some second round prospects doesnt mean i wont trade a 2nd round pick for two future second round picks. I never said this draft sucks and it flattened out. Dont try this silly bs with me. We can still sign some good prospect on a 2way deal which got a lot better lately.
My money is on Banchero going number 1 !
