Anyway I don't like the pick. He's not a complete player. Can't pass, can't dribble, can't defend. Prove me wrong, man.

Kinda - in that he should be a fairly productive bench player and isn't very athletic. Really can't ask for more at 45. Excellent 3 point shooter and has the versatility to play either forward position. Surprisingly good rebounder. Not a passer - from his stats. 6'8 225 lb guys who can shoot like him and add something else - like solid rebounding - have value.

Imo he'll really struggle to defend quicker NBA 3's.

Father is Nigerian (like Giannis' parents).
Giannis' first two picks for his All-Star team were Embiid and Siakim. Both times he mentioned them as his "African brother".
Giannis made this pick.

Re: #45 - Jordan Nwora (Forward, Louisville)
What’s really not to like about this kid? He looks plenty NBA ready to me. 3rd team All American, runner up ACC POY, played in TONS of meaningful games and was the star player at a major university. I don’t believe 44 dudes from this class are better than him. That release is lightning fast too I love that! Nwora is gonna be a steal!
RIP Kobe Forever. GOAT 8-24. Long Live Giannis

Definitely more of a 4 on defense, slow. Good hops though.

I agree - though scouting reports say solid team defender. Every player at that range is going to have major weaknesses - still a useful player.

Re: #45 - Jordan Nwora (Forward, Louisville)
Great jumpshot, I like his 2-3 dribble handle too to get a bit of space and ability to hit that mid range when the 3 ball is taken away. Nice step back too, hopefully can learn to defend and rebound in the league. Not a bad looking pick at all for #45

Getting slower was one of the things we need to accomplish in this draft.

According to The Stepien he shot 46% on NBA 3s.

We lost having guys who could only catch and shoot so we draft a guy who can only catch and shoot?

Solid pick I think. Fits a role. Not much more you can expect with the 45th selection.

You can't teach shooting. Great pick at #45. Seems to be in the well-rounded college player mold like Brogdon was too. I like it.
