Yeah I'm good w/him there. That's the spot to take a chance on a guy with an outlier skill like shooting that we need.
I'm fine with safe picks this late in the 2nd. We're living in a shooters world where elite one-dimensional players often have some longevity in the league in the right role/system.

They play different positions

I understand that but with Ben eating up so many backcourt minutes they are fighting for the same minutes in the rotation. Shake is versatile and he can do all the things Joe can.

We do need more than one shooter.

Unprecedented having an UDFA as your starting point guard.

Richardson and Horford being bad fits last year did not help their value. Horford's deal was too long, Richardson is a one year rental or need to pay more down the road. I think the Seth Curry deal was an overpay with the 36 pick, fine without it. Still much to do, tonight was one step in the new process.

If we keep 58, I'd go with Reggie Perry

why are we crying about the return of jrich via butler? Brand is an asshat we all know that. it is a never ending list of **** decisions since Hinkie left. at least some of the recent **** ups lead to us having Morey.

I think we would have selected Joe with the 36th pick anyway so not much change there.

Glad he has the opportunity, he got injured last season and tried to play through and it hurt him a bit.

I know people are just looking at last year, but his freshman year was really his best year. Had too much pressure on him this year with him and Mason being the only guys on the team that could score at all.

He is a much better shooter than 34.2% from 3.

I actually felt that he should have gone out last year. Was a bit disappointed in his performance this year. That said, there's no denying his shot form is pretty perfect.

Yeah if he's open he's actually pretty much money, this year the Hogs were terrible other than him and Mason. Teams were picking up Joe as soon as he crossed halfcourt. Joe is from Arkansas, and wanted to help the program, but I agree he should've left as a freshman.

I do hope the best for him, he's a good kid and can shoot the ball.

It'll probably be Paul Reed if anyone. Feel like they'll want to grab one big.
