He is heading to SAC apparently.

I've heard of his name. However, I am not familiar with his game. At least he's moving on to Sactown. Good luck to him.

What did we get for Woodard?

BTW I thought we had 2 2nds. What happened?

We only had #40 in this draft to start the night.

We did two future 2nds (yet to be told) for #30 aka Bane.
We also did #40 aka Woodard plus the 2022 Det/CHI 2nd (lesser) for #35 aka Xavier Tillman.

So we got Tillman and Bane from this draft but are down three future 2nds. I think we probably will sign an undrafted player to a two way deal too after the draft.

Solid. Better than expected and didn't really overpay for our two jump ups.

Not a fan of Tillman on tape, but maybe he is a high character guy. Always like those.

Jay Scrubb got picked, but Myles is sadly still on the board. Surprised Paul Reed got picked and not Markus Howard or Myles. It makes 0 sense.

With Ja and JJJ, Memphis was already my 1B team. Now with Xavier Tillman, they're even 1Ber. You're going to love Tillman. He has a great head on his shoulders, hard worker, maybe the best defensive player in the draft, knows where to be on offense. He's struggled with his shot but he was one of the top midrange shooters in the pre-draft camp. He also led NCAA basketball in box plus-minus. Brandon Clarke was second last year behind Zion so that might be a stat Memphis focuses on.
At the end of the day, it's not about wins and losses. Teamwork, fair play, and good sportsmanship make champions of us all.

Go arbitrary assortment of athletes! Beat the other arbitrary assortment of athletes or my mood will suffer!

If you had to compare Tillman to any NBA player, who would he be? Just to get an idea.

I would try out Lamar Stevens on a two way. I see some Tobias Harris in him with better defense.

I have zero idea what our FO is thinking ha. My dream person is Desmond Bane but I highly doubt he falls to #40.

I liked our draft, specially picking up Tillie. Congrats once again to our FO!

Thanks! Should be around more now.

I didn't watch as much college ball as I would have liked, but from what I did see, he is mainly a scrappy spot up shooting specialist.
