So they did put me a sleep  , since I switched to fire stick haven't watch much of espn or fox.

I wouldn't assume Shamet or Brown is a sure bet to stay either. Houston has dumpster fire going in there right now, so I wouldn't make any guesses either. We dealt with same trash called orlando tragic. All in all we just collecting assets.

Like Al he had more value before playing for the sixers. Going by what Jimmy said in an interview with JJ it doesn't seem there was an awful lot of respect for Brett Brown or leadership from either him or their 2 star players.

Nets deal Jay Scrubb to the Clippers for Reggie Perry.

Perry looks like a good value here but I am a bit confused.

I can see why the Clippers want to trade for the player we took two picks ahead of them but why do we give them the guy we picked over the player they took afterwards?

Are we getting a future pick from them?

What am I missing here?

Perry is 6'10, 250lbs. Not a bad pick up to work on.

Has good inside game + strong + good footwork + solid shooting mechanics(maybe can become a stretch big at some point?)
+ solid handles for a big. Basically looks very talented on the offensive side of the ball.

The question marks will be all about defense.

Unlike the Fro or Clax he isn't fast enough laterally to cover the PnR successfully. He is somewhat slow footed on defense which hurt his stock.

I think with some coaching he improve on defense but defense won't be the reason he makes it in the league, he's an offensive big with okay defense. Solid gamble and should be in an interesting talent to keep an eye on at LI Nets alonside Jaylen Hands.

He compares himself to Paul Milsap but we'll see.

Day after and I'm much less upset about the Shamet trade. Elite shooters are hard to come by and unlikely Bey would even be able to help defensively his first year.

Have to trust Marks and see what he does in Free Agency and trades. Right now the roster obviously makes no sense, but its unfinished.
