Does anyone know his wingspan? Looks to me like a little more than his height, but haven't seen anything official.

Probably not. There have been multiple reports that he has 'long arms'.

Wingspan measurements are the OLD Bucks , the Hammond era , the era where Giannis was drafted ...
This is the new era, give me 3p% off the dribble, FT% , playmaking , BBIQ & Work ethic...
Draft picks: '15 Jerian Grant, '16 Thon Maker, '17 Isaiah Hartenstein/*John Collins, '18 TD Devonte Graham, Hamidou Diallo, '20 Sam Merrill, Killian Tillie, '21 Joe Wieskamp, '22 TU C.Braun/G.Procida '23 Tristan Vukcevic/Maxwell Lewis

About as high-floor a prospect you could go here at #60. Wayne Ellington vibes. Gotta like the fact that we got two guys in the 45-60 range who IMO have a decent chance at contributing to an NBA team for the next 2-3 years.

It’s almost like we are a team with only 5 real players right now and wanted to pick up two mature players that could potentially help right away.

Obviously it’s no longer the Jrue Holiday trade...it’s the Sam Merrill trade.

From The Athletic.

So he's me except for the part about the gym.

Gotta love that even the knowledgeable draft people can't help themselves when it comes to white guy comps. At the least Joe Harris/Duncan Robinson ones make sense given what his NBA role will/should be, but he can't create offense like any of those other guys.

Let's all be lazy and pick a white guy to compare him to. I'll start:

Jimmer Fredette...same state and everything!

I can't believe he hasn't gotten a Matt Thomas comp yet.

I'd say he's a 3-inch taller Jimmer. He created offense a ton more than the likes of Harris, Robinson, and Thomas.

He reminds me of Langston Galloway.

I know next to nothing about Langston Galloway but just wanted to attempt a white guy - black guy comparison

Utah State had a really good team, Merrill was the star, not only a great shooter but could create and get to the line from the few times I watched them. USU also has a really good young big man and a bunch of good vet shooters all around Merrill and the big. I believe he’s had some injury issues in the past.

Just now watching highlights. This MF'er can shoot it. Sheesh.

I don't even have a comp because he's shooting it off the bounce, off catches, knows when to attack close outs.

Is he Ray Allen-lite?
