If we're done with major moves, we are going to rely heavily on Tobias this upcoming season to score points. Hope Doc is up to that challenge.

Simmons/Curry
Green/Milton/Maxey/Joe/Smith
Thybulle/Korkmaz/Ferguson
Harris/Scott
Embiid/Pelle

Milton is not a back up PG. And I will be very surprised if they don’t go back to Ben as the starting PG. But we’ll see how it goes.

1) Try acquiring some solid wing or PG for combination of Scott+Zhaire+Korkmaz+2nds
2) Sign PG/wing (whoever you didn't get via trade) for our exception.
3) Sign C for the minimum (I'm sure there would be pretty good options)

If you ask me, the biggest need is competent PG, who can play like 25-30 minutes. Would be tough to find, though

Reminds me of his dad. I remember how deadly dell was when we had to face that raptors team.

Feels like we have a clean slate besides Tobias.

Ben + Embiid + a ton of young promising pieces + vet shooters on team friendly or expiring deals

Essentially an upgraded 2017 roster with less draft assets... I really feel good about this team going into the next few years

As the night played out I saw it as Morey building out the team not just around Simmons and Biid, but around and to accentuate and help the Big 3, with Tobias quietly benefitting as much or more from those moves than the two All-stars did, plus having Doc back as his coach. Tobias' deal is what it is, but he is a better player than the way we have dogged him of late and will be much more productive in the new look than he was last year. Overpaid by millions? Sure, wish I was too, but he is a good player with a ton of useful skills in the prime of his career and a guy that seems to really play a big locker room role as well, which helps to balance everyone out. Best case scenario is borderline all-star consideration this year for Tobi if he benefits as much as I think/hope from the new team construction and coaching change.

So from like almost 20ppg, how many more points is acceptable for you? 25ppg?

They’re quite optimistic with our team

I'd like to see Tobias up to 22 ppg. 2nd highest on the team w/Jo around 24 ppg, and Ben around 19 ppg.

Last year he was at 27.7 pp100, we need him to get that up near 30 at better efficiency (close to .600 TS).

For me the biggest disconnect was Seth Curry. I was thinking of him from the past as a fringe NBA player. However he's turned himself into one of the best volume shooters in the league over the past few years, with solid impact/advanced numbers.

That’s fair and realistic IMO

Well, does nothing to improve the team really.

I'm frankly concerned that Doc wants to use Ben as the PG again.

Rehabbing Tobi's value improves the team long term. We're not looking at a 1 year window here.

In the future the hope is he could be the headline piece in trade for another star player.

And more 3PFGA. At least 50% of his shot attempts should come from beyond the arc.

An efficient 25 would be great.

As a guy who sits above Kawhi Leonard, Jimmy Butler, Kemba Walker, Kyrie Irving in highest paid, we need him to be doing something at an elite level. That also includes playoffs, a place where he disappears.

I wouldn't demand that much, but def more 3PT shooting. His 3PTr was way too low last year at .303 - needs to get that up around .400 at least.

I don’t think there’s any question about that. Glenn must think he has a way to defeat the free safety other teams use to “guard” Ben at the point.

The only issue that I don't think will be addressed is, who do we go to in the guys of the game? I think Maxey will become that guy but counting on a rooking w/ no training camp or no summer league is a non-starter. Interesting moving forward. We'd need Ben to take a step that we can safely assume is unlikely.
They say an analytics man doesn't have a heart, but I ran the numbers and nothing can be further from the truth - Sam Hinkie probably

Less Jo post up, more Jo face up mid range?

Seth will pick and pop for Ben or Biid or Tobi.
