From a salary standpoint if he doesn't make a full recovery (which I hope he does), this is going to cripple GSW pretty bad. That 2023-24 cap hit is $43,219,440.

It's tough. Out for 2 Seasons.
The basketball playing career time is already short enough.

Sacramento was rumored to have interest in Gordon... could a Hayward for Bogdanovic S&T swap work? Can pieces be added or is that not permitted?

It can work its what Boston and Charlotte did last year with Walker and Rozier. Kings have cap space to help it along as well. I don't think Gordon is desperate to get out of Boston, at least not that desperate or he would have just opted out. The dude is looking for an extension not to be sent to the Gulag of the NBA.

Really depends on what Hayward wants his role to be and if the report that he wants to be part of a winning core is to be believed, or if he wants to be a more important option.

Purely from a lifestlye standpoint Sacramento is a pretty dope city.

Is he still good? I always liked him when I saw him.

No he sucks but this means the Bogdanovic to Milwaukee deal is dead, which means we need to get in on Bogdanovic in a sign and trade with Hayward going to Atlanta.

We'll probably need to send picks to both Atlanta and Sacramento to get it done tho.

The basketball Gods have punished GS for tanking to get the #2 pick.

Dedmon to Detroit for Snell and Khyri. Not the flat-earther.

There goes the Atlanta sign and trade, think he’s opting out and signing there outright

Well, Det cant sign Wood for more than the MLE now at least, but Atlanta cleared space and guessing they get Hayward outright

Thomas and Snell could be heading to Boston. We just have to wait.

They just got a tiny bit more of cap space. Maybe they really are planning to sign all of Rondo, Gallo, and Hayward.

Means we can throw the full non taxpayer MLE at him, don’t know if it’s enough though

I hope we get something for him. I honestly can't see Hayward going to Atlanta. But maybe he is really wanting another big contract

I just can’t imagine Hayward really wanting to play in Atlanta. Money talks though lol.

Oh well, at least he’s in Atlanta, we don’t have to worry about competing against him in the playoffs.
