Put it another way....Edwards is roughly the size Shabazz Muhammad was in his NBA career. There was never any question if Muhammad could play SF.

I don't think that creates space or if it does it would be less than the MLE making it stupid not to sign him. I think you are jumping to conclusions.

Regarding Malik Beasley, a strong offer will probably not be matched for fit - maybe the full MLE.

All sign-and-trades rarely bring back much of an asset. Top offer for one team is overpay for the rest.

MIN needs matching salary for future trades, with JJ gone, so they might sign him regardless.

Don’t be shocked if Beasley rejects all offers, and plays one year on a $5 mil QO.

I wouldn't trade Beasley to a WC team..

He's actually played really well for us and he's an extremely hard worker, he is going to ball out next season if all this legal stuff gets cleared up and I don't want to see that in this conference biting us in the ass

Knicks have that Dallas pick from the Porzingis trade

They also have like $40 mil in space so doubtful they would give up anything of value in a S/T
