Water under the bridge.
Still... I told you once some fan can know Ricky Rubio so much as me but I don't think no one knows him better than me.
His year at Arizona was the happiest one he had since he was injured in a crash against Kobe during his rookie year at MIN.
Kinda odd.. he had his best NBA friend at UTA (Ol'Man Aussie Joe Ingles) and he loved Spida... he was happy at SLC but by no means so happy as he was here.
I can tell. I know him.
You can tell as well: Just look videos from him at MIN and UTA and compare it with videos playing here.
His body language, the spark on his eyes... his face.
He might look kinda unexpressive but when you know him, you can see how his emotions are working.
It was surprising for me... something about this team, this franchise and this fanbase really touched him.
No idea why.
I'll tell you something: I'd like him and James Jonah Jameson could have some eye to eye conversation (Skype or Zoom would work).
No agents, no intermediates... Just both of them clarifying things.
I grew about the idea of miscomunication between them during the Carlton affair was an unfortunate misunderstanding.

Re: NÒMADES Ex-BlackTrollSuns, now Minnesota TimberTrolls a.C. (after Covid)
Ok... I feel relief.
Since no official statement was made and no teammate welcomed him to the tundra, I was growing paranoid.
The trade to MIN can't be made official 'til James Johnson salary gets cleared out (or somewhat... I'm far better knowing what happens at court than off court) but he considers himself a TimberTroll again
So... I can make my own statement official as well:
Good bye to all of you.
It has been a funny season and I'll never forget you.
I'll return from time to time to refloat this thread, to say you 'hi' and to drop some of my bizarre memes.
Expect me here anytime MIN plays against PHX, as minimum.
Stay safe and healthy, beg you.
Addendum: Where the hell are you?
If you're still alive, please quote me when you return.

Gratitude for reading them. It's a dirty job but someone has to do it.
Still trying to understand TimberTrolls a.C. I thought they were a tank thing but RR there changes the equation... they might become NoMan'sLanders now. I know well enough just KAT, Okogie and Jugancho HGómez. Roster potential still a mystery to me.
CarltonSuns looks good on the paper. Some frailty at the C rotation but it's supposed Monty will play small from the bench with tons of guards unskilled to run the team but capable runners and scorers while Saric pointforwards. Not a bad idea.
It doesn't matter if I post less or more... I'm but a random nomadic bandwagoner.
You, sans fans are supposed to write.
I'll keep reading you and the others.

Re: NÒMADES Ex-BlackTrollSuns, now Minnesota TimberTrolls a.C. (after Covid)
I'm a man of my word.
I promised I'd be here when Black Troll Suns first meet TimberTrolls and here I am.
I'm not watching every PHX game as I did last season. Watched a bunch of them tho.
These are my takes:
-Half a season after Carlton Banks-trade, things look pretty good.
It's not just because CP3: Jae RedLiner has been a great addition and Frarío Sarinsky, if still struggling to hold himself together, got better when healthy than he/them used to be.
The record goes where only the oldest fans remember and the franchise apparently earned (some) respect from media and (wishful thinking here) even maybe referees.
In my opinion, there's few to complain about.
Of course, you still get Sarver but let's not dig in it.
-Let's mess with you a bit.
Ayton still a concern. I didn't watch all the games but each one I saw I thought he was not best possible DeUretic available.
I thought he played better last season (at least, some streaks).
You watch him more closely: you tell me.
DBook is not playing bad... but he doesn't (apparently) play better than last season. I can't see his fit with CP3 making him more efficient or productive at all.
I even would say when Carlton seats or step aside to the corner and Dev runs the team by his own.... he's doing worse than he did when RR was around.
Again, you know better: you tell me.
Mikal Bridges looks irregular and that's not a word I ever associated with him. He goes from 3rd string of a Big Three to random glue guy with a wooden wrist.
That's the oddest difference I see from last year at the roster. I don't think is someone to blame. Moon phases, maybe.
Tormund and Diallo are not specially missed... but let's all pray both Frarío get consistently healthy or they will eventually be.
Team looks strong but irregular as well.
-Minor stuff.
Good things beat bad things by a mile and it's not impossible all those dizzy deeds are mostly due to the longest Late Pre Season ever in the NBA History.
I count you into PO. Would be surprise to me if you didn't.
Then... it will be a matter of survival.

Aiyä!
Whatever eventually happens, this one matches most succesful Suns' seasons.
Ever.
I might return to list some #IknowNothingJonSnow these guys made me.
But now I just wanna congratulate you.
You're being to my eyes the most fun to watch team this PO, whatever the bias.
Inarguably, one of the strongest as well.
Remains to be seen if the strongest of all but now it's time to celebrate.
DBook is sure doing it.

I've always felt Ricky was one of the main reasons for this turnaround.

I slept as a log... I watched the game replayed this morning (It's 15:00h now at Barcelona).SunsRback4Good wrote:I understand your duty is with Twolves since they acquired Rubio. I cant fall asleep my excitement wont allow it.
I understand your excitement.
These are the best times ever to be a 'Sans' fan.
I missed best bandwagoning spot for just one year, but no regrets at all.
About TimberTrolls... well... We had a TimberTrolls season.
I mean, your daily regular TimberTrolls' ways.
Those are our principles and if I don't like it we have others.
Others even worse.
So no complains at all.
Calvin Klein wrote:I've always felt Ricky was one of the main reasons for this turnaround.
Well... if not the main, a meaningful part in the process to arrive here.
I think is fair to say while he was here he earned the salary you guys payed him.

Love the pic above. Had to post to twitter. As many times as I hear "slept like a log" I always had forgotten that logs sleep.

Like ive always said you can be a player fan and a team fan if u want too. You can root for Rubio on the Wolves and be mainly a suns fan.
Mainly im against bandwagon fans but I will draft you.
Who know maybe Rubio comes back in a couple years.
BUT you cant just show up like a crazy ex knocking at the door that time lol.

You put me between a rock and a hard place.
We, RRubio stans are bounded by an unbreakable oath and we're forced to adopt a Nomadic way of life... we travel, stand, eat, drink, procreate and die over our bandwagons.
So, unless RatFace Payne asks too much money for Sarver's delicate taste and you need some other True Point Guard (I guess JJonahJones and Ricky should clear the waters first)... I guess I'll take the crazy ex's rol; appearing unannounced from time to time.
Sorta fits me.
Gratitude, Dragon-san

Ok... to the road again.
Coyahuga County looks pretty, at least. Some cold and wet but faaar less frozen than the tundra and faaar less hot than your cactus desert.
Send my regards to Jevon Carter, btw.
Hitting the road is tough.

Rubio traded again. El Hespiritu taking his talents to Cleveland home of Lebron, JR & Kyrie. Maybe now rubio will get more playing time and shine.

He will probably be one of the more active posters on the Cavs board...so at least that's a plus for them.

Indeed.
