Those are Knicks colors.
And that front balloon is a C, not a D.

Yeah, that post is obviously meant to be cryptic.
So putting my sleuth hat on for a surface investigation, the blue/white balloons could signify Piston colors. It looks like one of them might be a big letter "D" as well, but I can't tell for sure. I also can't make out what the other letter might be.
Definitely could be Maverick colors as well, and the D could very well stand for Dallas,
I think that is a #5 (his college number, taken here by Kennard). Probably just from his agent celebrating his coming big pay day (for both of them). Has the free agency courting period opened with the signing tomorrow at 6pm? Otherwise it would be tampering for any team to have sent this.

Re: [WOJ] Snell/Khyri for Dedmon
After a bit more thinking, I don't think Wood is going to be included in a Dedmon re-route. The Dedmon trade was clearly made with secondary move already in hand.
Wood will have needed to already agreed to a contract with a new team in order to already be pegged for a trade. Since free agency hasn't actually started, no team should have been able to talk to him.
I guess its possible he gave Detroit his contract demands and a list of teams he would sign for, and Detroit relayed that info throughout the league and thus already agreed to the framework of an S&T.

Its missing Orange in that case, unless the basketball balloon is supposed to represent orange. But its missing Red if it were Piston colors.

Re: [WOJ] Snell/Khyri for Dedmon
Honestly and I’m saying this being a big fan of his - a big deal for him concerns me lately with us.
I don’t like the games being played. He’s shown flashes of his immaturity since the end of last season. He was just so good, we didn’t care.
Think I would rather truly tear this team down. Christian Wood isn’t even taking us to the playoffs.
He’s fun to watch and I like his game - but I don’t think it’s the end of the world if he leaves. I really don’t.
If he stays - he could keep us on that treadmill too. Just good enough to keep picking late in the lottery.

Yeah, I highly doubt its from any team.
It could be a #5, if it is the frame cuts off the top part of it.
Coordinator could be right in that its actually a C. Which could just stand for Christian.
He definitely posted it for effect to get us talking. Its kind of fun though

I just had a vision. A premonition if you will lol.
We are the team giving Hayward a fat contract. They're gonna sign and trade him to us for Ariza+Dedmon. Also in my vision somehow we give them Rose and they gave us Nesmith![]()
Any of this legal?
I gotta stop drinking! What I'm meaning by this is us getting draft picks and Nesmith for taking on ol Gordo

The Pistons won exactly 1 game after the Drummond trade with Wood being featured. He's nowhere near good enough to ruin a tank.Han Solo wrote:Honestly and I’m saying this being a big fan of his - a big deal for him concerns me lately with us.

Then how is he good enough to pay 15 mil a year when we are starting a youth movement? Sometimes players you like, don’t align with your future for various reasons.
And I love watching Christian play for the record. Happy for him wherever he ends up. If he stays, he is the man on the team. We build around him being someone we view as a centerpiece. He’s not a complimentary player, he’s looking to be the man somewhere. His game shouts that.
Here he would get that to be honest. Just don’t worry about losing him anymore like I did. Think the draft and seeing a different future for us sort of changed my outlook on Christian. For once I want to build this thing right. It started well last night.

OOO, I didn't think about that. I was focusing on the balloons

I'm not sure how he's good enough to pay $15 million/year as I've never advocated for that myself.Han Solo wrote:DetroitSho wrote:The Pistons won exactly 1 game after the Drummond trade with Wood being featured. I'm amazed how everyone is actually being tight lipped after the NBA opened up a tampering case. I mean there are no rumors out there right now.

Re: [WOJ] Snell/Khyri for Dedmon
This trade ended up being TERRIBLE
Snell (a large expiring contract)
For
Dedmon (who had an extra year on his deal.....but we stretch-waive him and he’ll count on our cap for years)

The waive spree that Weaver went on was so crazy
At one point we had too many players that were immediately on the move or waived. That was a bizarre FA night

Complaining is something I think we have too much of around here but I'm not going to restrict it in terms of moderation.
What I will take exception to is bumping a months old thread just because you had a thought about it.
