Luke for 19 doesn’t sound that bad now, since OKC only got a heavily protected 1st for Oubre. Hopefully our seconds are protected. If not..... we can always get more

We're also talking about second rounders 3-4-5-6(!) drafts from now. Weaver will probably make 20 trades between now and them and have a chance to recoup them. Also by that time you have to hope the rebuild has been successful and they'd be 50+ SRP's.

Duly noted.

Not sure what it does to the point I was making, but okie dokie.

"You do you" seems to imply I've been making posts on both sides of the fence out of sheer emotion.

At least that's the way it came off to me, considering the subject matter of the posts we responded to each other in.

In any event its not a big deal.

No...

“You do you” means I don’t understand your reaction here but it’s your right to have it. No idea where the leap you made comes from.

Oubre does have a rather large contract that devalues him though.

I like Luke for 19 but I felt that should be pointed out.

You don't understand a reaction reflecting on people having a different view of a trade after the (reported) framework of a trade changes 24 hours later?

I think its very much reasonable for people to change their opinions about a trade after it gets altered, if you don't then we are just on a different wavelength on this one.

People on the internet seem high on Jaylen Hands for some reason. Anyone know why?

Because new additions to a team usually come along with a dose of inherent homerism for a sizable portion of the fanbase.

Hands is probably in the running for the second 2-way contract spot with Sirvydas. Saben Lee getting the other.

Don't know what Sirvydis is making overseas, but I would think its enough to make him not want to be subjected to a 2 way contract and everything else that comes along with it.

Maybe he can get them back if he can find another GM desperate or naive as he was in his first draft. Sorry we gave up the best asset and took a scrub back making $5M. Clippers worked him. They still would of taken a player like Luke without them ,but hey let's see what we can squeeze out of the rookie GM. It worked big time...

I’m not just referring to our fans with him. League wide, people seem to like him.

All I know about him is he was good high school and went to UCLA

Yeah, that's my guess as well. Sirvydis still needs to be bought out and because of a certain rule the Pistons can only chip in so much money. Some of it has to come out of his pocket. He would have to really, REALLY want to come over to the states if a two-way deal was the pot at the end of the rainbow.

In this case? No, I don’t understand it, nor do I understand others getting emotional over second round picks.

The fact that you’re willing to extrapolate that to my not ever being able to understand someone changing their mind on a trade is a pretty clear indicator that this is not a conversation worth continuing.

Good day.

I feel like AI, "We talkin' 'bout 2nd rounders? 2nd rounders? Not players. Not firsts. Seconds. Second rounders. We talkin' 'bout 2nd rounders man." People are really getting upset about moving future 2nd round picks, years down the road? We were just told for the last few days that 2nd round picks mean nothing when included in deals like Bruce Brown, but now we are supposed to be upset about moving them?

Some of these people just want to be miserable about something

How long until we see the "_____ had Hands graded as a 1st rounder on their board" reports?

He's the new Jordan Bone. Well actually, Hands (56) went 1 pick before Bone (57) did. So upgrade baby :D
