Giannis is basically watching the league selectively punish his small market "hometown" team in an effort to get him to leave (along with the other BS they've done as soon as he became a superstar).

With what we know about him, is it more likely that he gives into the wishes of this obviously corrupt league, or does he thumb his nose at tainted championships and stays to ride with the aggrieved underdog?

He'd be a famous superstar and TMZ target for the former approach, but a hero and immortal figure for the latter (and an excellent example of integrity for his younger brothers).

What if the report he heard was Bucks and Sac have a deal if and only if Bogdan agrees to sign when we ask him?

Was listening to Hollinger explain how the pre-free agency negotiation process goes. The team talks with the agent. All the convos go through the agent. The agent then works with the player. Nate Duncan asked Hollinger if it was possible Bogdan didn't know the contract specifics. Hollinger laughed and said zero chance. Bogdan knew everything that was going down.

Hollinger also said that if a guy like Woj hears from an agent about a deal, he usually reaches out to the team to confirm.

I think you overestimate how much they care about what we think.

Personally I think the Bucks started it. And either the agent or Kings confirmed it, or Woj figured getting the word directly from the Bucks was good enough and ran with it. Could be wrong. I can't prove it.

Also listened to MacMahon, Windy and Pelton. All three of them seemed to feel that losing Bogdan wasn't the end of the world, as long as Giannis re-signs. Felt that the hard cap was going to severely limit them, and that DDV is a good player.

The only issue I have with that is that the team still doesn't have cap room. They've only got the MLE and BAE. And if Bogdan did sign a deal starting at $15mm, they evidently might have had enough money to use both of those anyways. It really only would have impacted roster spots 11-15.
