Ok so moving on from the whole Bogdan thing, who are realistic targets with our MLE?

Would anyone trade Brook and Ragu for Bogdan? I don't think I would...but it all comes down to keeping Giannis.

Yes and then I’d sign Baynes

Either way, we're definitely not going to leak a damn thing until 5:01PM CST tomorrow.

Interesting that the Frank Mason deal was announced but radio silence re: Sterling.

Brook and Ragu >

But if it literally is the difference in Giannis staying, you gotta do it. Issue is we keep sending out assets and leave the cupboard bare. We really need some vet ring chasers to sign cheap now. I wonder how many would actually sign for vet min though.

Sterling Brown might win the lottery and get a $5-7mm one year deal to go back into that trade.

Another draft success for Jon Horst if he gets 7 mill a year off his rookie contract.

Its got to be a 3 year deal, but can be descending, and could only be guaranteed for year 1. Give Sacramento some upside just in case Brown got back to the player he was at the end of 18-19, or more.

So currently we have

Jrue/
Donte/Merrill
Khris/Thanasis/Nwora
Giannis/DJ
Brook/

I would try to target a solid sixth man at either a wing spot or a 3/4 with the MLE, maybe someone like Jerami Grant? Although he might be too expensive so then I'd pivot to like Jamychal Green. I'd love if we could get Jrue's brother Justin for the BAE. Then round out the roster with minimums and some guys I'd target for minimums are Harry Giles, Frank Mason, Jaylen Adams, Jeff Teague, Emmanuel Mudiay, John Henson, Dragon Bender.

To finish with something like

Jrue/Teague/Mason
Donte/Justin Holiday/Merrill
Khris/Adams/Nwora
Giannis/Green/Thanasis/DJ
Brook/Giles

That to me seems like a roster that could make a run while also being young to develop some guys to stay competitive into the future.

I would like that...and still like like 25-26 avg age...

He did start playoff games and didn't look out of place.

That's creative problem solving. Don't know if Silver would allow it - since it's obvious what the intent is.

By signing Frank Mason to a max contract and trading him and all our picks in the 2030's for George.
