Man. Blake gets to live out the rest of his contract on an overtly tanking team.
Not that I have any sympathy, mind you. He's done quite well for himself.

Well, he could pull a Gordon Hayward and opt out!

Plus, as long as he is not injured, we should have no problem finding a taker for him. Maybe not 326 first round picks and 22 seconds.

It’s going to take more than “not injured”. His contract is massive and for two more years. He played some hurt last year and was freakin horrible. He needs to play close to his level from two years ago to get moved for positive value, ie not attaching assets or absorbing bad contracts in return.

Happy that Sekou has a friend in the team now, but Killian can't be his baby-sitter. Sekou has a serious background, that is the reason why Pistons could get him with only 15th pick. But with a good mentor, this guy should becoming an All-Star. Younger, because of his behaviour, He was fired from INSEP, then fired from a stage with U20 France and this spring was fired ... by his agents. Moreover, he flew to France without Piston's agreement at the beginning of the crisis, and I saw in a local newspaper (actually I live in Fleury-les-Aubrais, where Sékou grew up) an interview of the educator who brougth him to basketball, that he could not speak to him anymore.
So, for Sekou and Killian, being together is a good stuff, but Sékou really needs a mentor for his personnal life. Maybe Pistons fixed this this summer, but I doubt.
Frank Ntilikina is a play-off player, but he goes to the Hornets.
Paris 2024 (Starters):
Ntilikina - Malédon - Hayes
Coulibaly - De Colo
TLC - Rupert or Risacher
Wembanyama- Yabusele
Embiid- Poirier - Lessort [without Embiid: Fall]

Has Weaver ever mentioned Doumbouya in his interviews?
You don't need a weatherman to know which way the wind blows.

Not talking baby sitter. It's much easier to have someone you can speak with fluently and have things in common coming from where you came from. As opposed to being all alone in a new country and new culture. Killian talked about playing over there is more playing as a team and coming to the states is more one on one and domination.

Re: Weavers Fantasy Pistons team...
You have to wonder what Blake and Rose are thinking. I don't think they want to mentor for a rebuild. I'm surprised Rose isn't gone, unless maybe we overestimated the market for him.
Comments to rationalize bad contracts -
1) It's less than the MLE
2) He can be traded later
3) It's only __% of the cap
4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years
6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy
