warriors took him into a tpe. saved us a lot of money. two 2nds is fine for oubre. if the seconds convey they'll be in the top 2/3 of the 2nd round. the savings might be enough to keep the thunder in the mix for a danilo gallinari s&t or other moves later. sam is very closely following the blueprint which built the thunder teams in 2007/08/09.

think Gallo gonna walk but I like this trade a lot. top 15 protected would have been ideal but that's still great.

Just hope we will use that TPE at some point. Don't recall the last time we used one

Are there any good fits for a team to take on Adams as a salary dump? Maybe Dallas? I don’t see a lot of options.

I had heard suggested a team looking to clear cap space for Giannis might want him but I don’t see many great fits. With Barnes having $60 million guaranteed it doesn’t seem likely.

If curry is actually better than russ that first conveys, right?
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

We need a pure wing that can play SF primarily so we have a decent starter at SF

Odds are that we won’t be very good plus we will have the Rockets FRP (top 4 protected) in the pick swap with MIA FRP. So that’s two lottery picks right there.

Still 14% at best. Even if we fail at 3rd or 4th, we may need to overpay to get him.

I think Sam is ok with the overpays. That's why he is getting so many draft picks.

Look at the Poku trade two late firsts and Rubio. The Thunder probably could have made Rubio more useful. But, they send him somewhere where he can succeeded and they got the guy they really wanted in the draft.

If we can overpay for Cunningham and 2 more guys you got yourself a starting 5 with Cade, Shai & Poku.

Hami.

This will be the year that Shai will have to figure out how to get space when there is no space.

In terms of value, I wonder if Presti was right to trade Green/Oubre so fast or if he should have waited a bit more. We will know soon enough. Probably no big difference.

Will be weird to root for the Warriors and against the Thunder next regular season ;)
