By signing Frank Mason to a max contract and trading him and all our picks in the 2030's for George.

Can I just ask why you like him so much? Not throwing shade, I haven't watched him at all. Looking at his Big West (yikes) stats don't inspire much confidence. He did go to the same high school as Rashad Vaughn though. That's neat.

I would have been fine with taking Diane at 60 but probably wouldn't endorse signing him now personally.

But out of curiosity, what sorts of stats WOULD inspire confidence? Certainly think it's fair to question if he can translate to the NBA but his numbers are pretty crazy.

Salvage the BB trade with our own S&T's

Bucks: Bogdan
Kings: DDV, DJ, & Pat C (S&T - 3/12m)
Thunder: Sterling (S&T - 3/9m) & 2025 Bucks 2nd

They are used for cap space and gain a potential 3&D wing and a future 2nd. Doesn't bog down Kings' roster with too many long term deals.

He'd be a great player to have on the G League team - getting good coaching. I doubt he's ready for the NBA. Great athlete from what I've seen. Great defensive potential.

I guess a place I'd start is his efficiency. Not that good. Might be because he seems to be a downright horrific shooter judging off his free throw percentage. Watching a 5 minute highlight his mechanics are atrocious an he chucks up some downright embarrassing shots which go in during the highlights but I would assume judging off the efficiency that most of the time do not. 2.8 assists a game in 36 minutes with 40% usage would lead me to believe that his vision and awareness probably aren't that great, though I suppose his turnovers aren't as horrible as one might expect with this type of player. I guess I'd also just question where he plays. Seems like he played big in college despite being like 6'7. Seems like a lot of the opportunities he gets against the brave engineers going up against him in the big West might not exactly be there. Overall watching him on video I like him more than his stats suggest. If his jumper was ever a weapon I could see him sticking somewhere, seems like a big if. Kinda reminds me of Christian Wood a bit.

I don't understand how Sterling Brown hit 45% of his 3's on 284 attempts in college. You know it's looking bleak when you're talking yourself into bringing him back and moving him 4 spots up in the rotation.

Our last hope at anyone good is Gallo on the MLE.

Eff Bogie and the team he agreed to (illegally).

I'd for sure take considering our options. BUt I've been skeptical on him due to being a 3/4 combo type and we have KM/Giannis there. And it's a G league and we currently have 1 good one and one borderlines starter in DDV. Personally I'm all for more Giannis 5 minutes and for that to be the closing lineup. This hypothetical would be incredible on O. But I'm skeptical if the Bucks would do it properly. I guess I'm remember the clunkiness of Lopez/Giannis/Mirotic lineups and how much I hated them and how much they got used in that playoffs.

So where can we pivot to bring in a starting SG? Joe Harris? Malik Beasley? We don't have enough for Oladipo anymore.

Or somebody else mentioned actually grabbing a PG and playing Holiday at SG. What realistic PGs are available for trade/the money we have to work with?

Sometimes guys are good at getting weed and chipotle. Good bench guys.

Can DJ become the new Henson????

I believe now that we waived Ersan, we can use the full 9 some mil MLE. We could use all of that on one player like Harris or Gallo

Only other possible option for a SG is a sign-trade for Harris.

Not sure the Nets help a conference foe who they will be competing with but they could get a one-year guaranteed contract back from us as trade bait for Houston. We sign and trade Pat or Sterling to the Nets at 3/$21M.

Basically what we would have had to do for Bogie.

Harris would be a nice get, but I think he's going to be priced out of our range

Pretty crazy that how we use the MLE is one of the bigger FA decisions we have had in a while, given the current state of our bench. They absolutely cannot **** that up.

Don't think that Joe Harris is gonna get anywhere near the money people here think he's gonna get. A sign and trade is definitely doable but I wouldn't exactly be thrilled with giving up Donte and then paying Harris more than $10-12 mil per year. He's just a shooter and not really the kind of versatile offensive player that Bogdan is.

Harris has been .474 and .424 from 3 the last two years at extremely high volume. 17 ppg per 36 last year. He's going to get paid.
