Apparently Minnesota was aggressive in trying to acquire PJ Tucker during the Draft, but could not reach an agreement with Houston.

Darren Wolfson said it on a program I can try to find later.

Nets offer honestly sucks
Phi has best offer if they move Ben
Pacers.
Dipo + Sabonis + 1sts is the start of a very nice offer. Rockets can still be win now.
The problem with that is Harden telling the Pacers he doesn't want to go there, whilst he can't veto the trade it is hard to see the Pacers not taking that on board

Never was a rumor - Not worth a 100th thread IMO.
But with Richardson and Green on the roster.. I’d really love Dallas to call Utah about our beaten horse Conley for THJ+Wright trade.. I think Bey would be all we’d need to add to that?
Do think a third team makes sense like Gallo or Bog to Utah for THJ+Bey. Utah getting Gallo and Wright for Conley, probably have to throw something to Presti because Presti..
For Dallas - it wouldn’t ruin 2021 and running Conley/Richardson with Luka would be a dream for a season. Add in the impact Conley could have on Terry/Brunson..

Harden has 2 years remaining. Any team not named Nets has 2 years to convince him to stay. That is one extra year than Kawhi in Toronto. Which is what the situation really is for any team not named Nets.
And that is kind of the beauty of Pacers as destination dark horse. Maybe the main piece, Dipo is a 1 year fight risk.
Dipo + Sabonis + McDermott (expiring) + 2021 1st (unprotected) + 2022 1st (unprotected swap rights) + 2023 1st (limited protections)
FOR
Harden
Tucker
McLemore
A third team can be brought in for Dipo if Rockets rather have assets. But I got to imagine they can’t move Westbrook and not owning 2021 1st, Dipo a rocket at least until trade deadline.
Turner
Tucker
Warren
Harden
Brogdon
In the East, that is a top 5 team. Before any other moves this offseason, that team can compete with 76ers, Heat, Nets, and even Bucks.

How do you feel about a broken 7’3 unicorn?! He is only 25 and signed long term. Should be ready to dominate the beginning of January. Easily a top 30 player in the league when he’s on the court.
Offer also includes; all the distant firsts, Josh Richardson, Josh Green, Jalen Brunson, Mark Cubans money..
Realistically, I don’t know what Houston is going to do. Harden should be worth so much more than what Brooklyn has to offer. But depends what Harden’s side is leaking to the other teams.

Would Harden ever even suit up for Indy or sit out and demand a trade to a preferred destination? I do t think we’d get 1, let alone 2 years to convince him.
Plus, we’d have to dump a lot more to stay under the luxury tax, and clearly Harden wouldn’t like that.
James is at the point in his career where he wants to play with 2 or more other top tier talents and have the best chance at a championship. Not a “pull a team by himself to the finals” kind of run. And ultimately, he probably wants to live in a Brooklyn/NYC instead of an Indy. He’s a guy that notoriously loves to hit the clubs after his games, and that’s just not an Indy thing, or rather, Indy’s are lacking.

He's old enough to drink, so he's too old for this team.

I doubt they'd do it, but Denver could always build a package around MPJ, RJ Hampton, and picks. MPJ may help give the Denver package an edge over BKN, but I don't know if they'd do it or if it would be enough for Houston to pull the trigger. Prior to the Oubre trade you could have done like Barton+Monte Morris to GSW for cap savings and the 2021 GSW 1st and then had Garry Harris as the other salary filler piece that Houston maybe could have flipped as well.

I'd be down for that deal (Conley), but not with the Gallo-Bogs swap. If Gallo wants to come here we have the full MLE.

I don't see anyway Denver does a deal for Harden. They have a young roster full of great prospects and already 3 guys who they believe are allstar or better in the lineup, trading that for Harden does not make sense. Especially when you consider the Nuggets have a very specific type of personality they look for, and from all indications Harden does not fit that.

Makes plenty sense from a title odds perspective. Murray, Harden, Jokic quite the big 3. Don't see his personality too much different from Murray.

I definitely see the chemistry risk. One of the best things the Nuggets have going is that team is remarkably cohesive. Harden is a top 5 player and would make the Nuggets favorites on paper, but he has also been a diva and I am not sure how that would work with Jokic and Murray.

There is definitely a lot to not love about it, but I was just trying to think of a random dark horse. I think Denver ultimately sticks with their young guys, but like the others said above a Murray/Harden/Jokic big 3 is quite a group on paper.

I would be ok with them trading for Conley but it seems the Mavs have their eyes set on adding someone that can give a little more offense than that. They seem to have they eyes set on Gallo.

If you think Harden and Murray have the same attitude than you obviously do not know much about Murray. Murray is very coachable, openly talks about winning being more important that awards or stats, and takes responsibility even when his teammates make mistakes. We have not had a single player force their way off the team because they didn't like playing with Murray. In other words he is pretty much the exact opposite of the guy who screams at teammates for standing near the bench, has had every big name player he played with want out, and always bitches about how he should win more awards. Sorry they are not close at all, other than Murray getting mad on the court and wanting to embarrass the guys with the nerve to piss him off.

The thing that many people miss is that the Nuggets openly avoid divas. They have since the Melodrama, they do not like guys who think they are more important than the team and openly talk about how they like hard working humble guys.
