Quick prediction for the Raptors as they head into free agency.

They lose Ibaka to the Nets

Keep FVV for $23m per season over 3

Powell and Johnson and McCaw for S&T Harrell

Lose Gasol to the Clips

Keep Boucher and RHJ on minimum deals

Sign Aaron Baynes for MLE

I wouldn't mind Diallo either. Would be cheaper than all of those guys probably

I wouldn't mind Diallo if we resigned Serge, but I don't want him to have a big role. I still am open to Harrell as well, and if we did, I'd see if we could get Marc back on a small deal as a backup, and have him kind of split time with Boucher based on opponent.

Definitely intrigued by the other names as well. Let's see how it plays out.

Sign Aaron Baynes for MLE

ibaka to bkn is near impossible, either signing or S&T

bkn is in tax already so can only ibaka tax mle, which starts at $5.8 max 3 year, so apx 3yr 18$

they can do S&T but that hardcaps them, which they are already close to limit.

BKN nets players might want him, but i dont see a raodmap, especially if they want to keep harden option open.

That's good to know, that it won't be a straight signing of Ibaka, but I still feel like Ibaka is on the way out either way. Too many contenders that make sense like LA Clips, Lakers, Rockets and Nets. A stretch C at his age is going to be in high demand.

Sean Marks stated that they won't mortgage the whole future for a 3rd star. Thus no Harden. But Ibaka wouldn't have to trade 3 1st picks.

Toronto sign and trade: Ibaka

Brooklyn trades: Jarrett Allen, Taurean Prince, 2021 2nd pick and right to swap 1st picks in 2021.

Need a 3rd party to take Prince and his 2 years left for an expiring.

What about to Cleveland for Sign and traded Tristan Thompson? At least he would be a C. I would be okay with Thompson making 13-12-11-10, can reverse the MLE as Prince is making $13 million.

Honestly don’t really care if we overpay Fred at this point. We can’t keep losing our best assets for nothing

Also, he’s earned it

I am sold on that package which is exactly who the Raps need to target. I love Jarrett Allen and Prince is not a bad depth piece.

Sign and trade Ibaka to the Nets for Allen and Dinwiddle. Then send Norm, Mc Caw and Johnson to Clippers for Harrell or to Sacramento for Bogan. Sign back Gasol at the min, split MLE on Giles and Hollis Jefferson.

You really want to watch RHJ iso like he's Melo again next year?

why focus on his negatives? he moves the ball and goes after misses. doesn't force 3s.

I’d take either at the min as a backup C ... while we decide to play with no C in most crunch mins (Anunoby as C)

He's unplayable. An absolute zero on offence. Can't shoot at all, destroys the flow and spacing on O. Much better role player options available.

All in for Harden! Player at his level becomes available rarely ever. That should be our priority

Hayward declining his option now puts a new wrinkle in the FVV suitors. There's already rumours of the Pacers, which would likely make it a cleaner Oladipo swap and takes that off the table. If the Knicks pull the trigger on him that takes one of the last FA destinations off the table.

Hoping the Knicks bite which puts the Oladipo/FVV option as a strong incentive if the Raps dig in on a reasonable contract.
