I'll still watch some games obviously but I will lose 90% of my interest in the league if he lands on the Lakers. That's as big a middle finger you can give to small market teams.

My guess is that Hill had to go. I believe something happened in that bubble around the time of the boycott that is unreported or downplayed. He was drama and distraction and little production - can't have that we need everyone listening to our alpha.

Should this post make me uncomfortable? I'm afraid to Google and find out.

You gotta respect how up front this has all become from the league. Why pretend otherwise? Lay it all bare, and the Bucks need to respond in kind

The Jrue deal at this point honestly makes me sick.

HOW??? Unreal.

I don't have it in me to continue to explain this.

If Giannis resigns then we're all good.

If he doesn't and waits to see how the season plays out, we're in massive trouble. You know what we gave up and you know what the stakes are.

How would getting rid of Bled and replacing him with Jrue not greatly improve the chances of him signing? It's crazy to me how little respect Holiday is getting. That was a HUGE move and that alone could have swayed Giannis to sign. Massive improvement over Bled.

If he doesn't ask for a trade by the trade deadline this coming season then the return will not be sweet.

This is all going according to the plan if you're a rival team that wants to sign Giannis.

I'm thrilled Hill is gone. If he didn't want to be there, he shouldn't have came. And that would've been all fine and good. But don't show up after saying you didn't wanna be there and play for a championship without being all in.

Where are you hearing this?

KOC, from the new Simmons pod. Here’s what he had to say:

KOC: My understanding is originally the concept of the sign and trade between the Bucks and the Kings which was just a concept discussed would have involved Eric Bledsoe. Which would have allowed Bogdanovic to get more money, more comparable to what he would have received had he stayed with the Kings or had he signed with the Hawks. But instead, once they traded Bledsoe and once they also traded first round draft picks, suddenly, they weren’t able to give as much money and that deal blew up before there was actually some sort of an agreement with the player and the Kings. So something happened here with somebody jumping the gun, probably one of the teams and it just blew up in their face….Have you heard anything about that? How this happened? Why did this happen? Where this leaked from?

Simmons: I think there was a bait-and-switch at some point and at some point Bogdonovic wasn’t making as much money as maybe the people who were facilitating the deal for him thought he was gonna make.

This black-and-white thinking about being involved with social justice meaning you can’t be “all in” on a championship blows my mind. Bullsh*t. You can do both. Hill was an excellent teammate and a good player.

Been spending a lot of time on the CA aboard and I have to say it’s nice to read this thread. We are a diverse and well educated fan base for the most part. 132 pages is impressive.

But in general this entire situation leaves me more pessimistic about this franchise’s future. I thought maybe Giannis ability on the court and cachet could neutralize front office ineptitude and ownership’s egos; unfortunate I don’t think that will be enough.

There is a very good chance DDV is a better player than Bogdan in 2 years and still on his rookie deal...
plus we have millions more to spend on MLE and BAEs now which could be the difference between a Harkless/Vonleh and Green/Leonard

The best thing that could come out of Pelinka & NBA bending the Bucks over would be Gianni's scortched earthing the league. Destroy the Lakers in the finals.
