The Hill hate/criticism is seriously disappointing.

HOW??? Unreal.

I don't have it in me to continue to explain this.

If Giannis resigns then we're all good.

If he doesn't and waits to see how the season plays out, we're in massive trouble. You know what we gave up and you know what the stakes are.

How would getting rid of Bled and replacing him with Jrue not greatly improve the chances of him signing? It's crazy to me how little respect Holiday is getting. That was a HUGE move and that alone could have swayed Giannis to sign. Massive improvement over Bled.

Nobodies arguing that Jrue isn't an improvement over Bledsoe.

Might be the owner's son. He looked kinda bitter in that zoom call with Zora talking about the protest.

After the Bucks, Packers, and Brewers have all had a bunch of "so close but so far away" moments the past several years I'm starting to think I enjoyed sports more watching **** teams with no expectations.

If they announce a Bogdan sign and trade to the Lakers or even the Hawks like 10 min after FA opens the league is the biggest joke in the world.

You can absolutely do both, but I just don't think Hill was all there mentally in the bubble. He made a lot of bone-headed moves and didn't shoot as well. Was it the pandemic? Was it social justice movement? Was it just a few bad games? Who knows. It could have been a bleep. I tend to think people overreact to 'clutchness' both ways in the playoffs because it is a small sample size, but is getting older and ok with a team moving on from him when you think you have the back court with Boggie/Holiday/DJ Augstin(?) coming back next year.

I completely disagree. We lost on both ends. Our defense didn't get organized, guys didn't start talking, until we were down 3-0. This was a problem the whole bubble.

Also, just as the NBA seems to be Fking us hoping we lose Giannis, they also Fked us with the refs in game 2 on 5 stupid ass Giannis foul after the final horn. Series would have been 2-2 after 4 games and Giannis wouldn't get hurt trying to score 50. They couldn't let us get in the finals instead of Miami.

This is a point in time the NBA literally can't afford low ratings or their next TV contract will be Fked, imagine what the hard cap will be if networks lowball for **** ratings. Every move from here has to go perfect for them like when you need to make every light to get to work on time. You already heard the ESPN heads directly telling Giannis to not sign the supermax.. why do they give a ****? That's a message from the NBA .. we're in the Matrix and the Bucks don't win unless they beat the whole system.

plus we have millions more to spend on MLE and BAEs now which could be the difference between a Harkless/Vonleh and Green/Leonard

Not likely - and if he does, we won't be able to afford him in 2 years when he's a FA unless we go massively over the cap. Which ownership has claimed they will do for two years now, without doing it. They should have signed Brogdon and ran it back. See if that TOR series really was a fluke. Then trade a combo of Brogdon/Bledsoe/Hill/Ersan/DJ for a massive improvement if things weren't working during the season.

Paid $550M for the Bucks. The franchise was worth $1B more last year than when they bought it. They couldn't spend an extra $40M in tax going for a championship then, what makes you think they'd do it now? Cheapskate Billionaires who wouldn't even throw down for the new arena.

What is it exactly? He seemed more annoyed and vocal about being in the bubble than any other player on any team that I was aware of. He should have opted out. Almost seems like Bud talked him into going.

I agree. You can do both. And I don't believe Hill did either. He literally said, " We shouldn't have even came to this damn place".

And suggesting that "we know what it really is though" is quite an accusation. :noway:

He'd be an almost perfect fit with Atlanta.

What can the Lakers even offer in a sign and trade? Kuzma? Who do they throw in to match salaries? I’d rather let him walk to a team with cap space if I were the Kings than get garbage in return in a sign and trade.
