Needs to be at least 1 year.

Good to know, thanks.

The great thing about the MLE or tax MLE is it allows up to 4 years. Getting deals of at least 3 years is great to get Bird rights. If your signing geezers, no big deal, but a huge deal if you can hit on a younger guy still on the rise.

The BAE and Cap Room exceptions only allow max of 2 years.

Amick did say the Bucks will remain aggressive. Not sure if that just means Horst is going to start yelling on the phone or what, because we don't have anything to give up.

We don't have a choice, we pushed the chips in on the Jrue trade. Doesn't mean it's going to amount to anything with our limited resources but we really have no choice but to go for it.

BroLo/Wood/Len

I'm into this. Chris Wood provides some individual pop on offense and hit 3s and a pretty damn good clip last yr.

Yeah, it is time to forget about Bogdan, and I'm looking forward to what the Bucks do, but one thing I don't want to see is a bunch of aging veterans on their last legs. We need some fresh legs.

Haha yes. We have 9 players and no picks. Getting aggressive must mean trading Brook, DJ, and Donte for Buddy Hield and oh **** we're doing that aren't we

Exactly. Essentially running it back with Jrue swapped for Bledsoe is pretty unacceptable but the likely outcome at this point.

What's the best player to get with Full 9m MLE?

Any interest in Hayward? Or really even an ability to get Hayward? I know he’s by no means a defender and his shooting is surprisingly mediocre, but he would give us some more competent creation.

If we can’t find something better is Dennis Smith Jr for DJ Wilson something we should consider? No idea what that dude’s value is but guessing he is in bust range.

Christian Wood easily, as Joe Harris and Gallinari will get more than the MLE

I could see DJ and 2 -2nds for Bjelica. That would fill a major hole.

I would love Hayward on this team but opting out of 34mil probably means he’s getting a stupid offer from one of the bad teams.

I'm good with Dj Augustin as the Hill replacement. Similar guys, similar role.

The big question is can we get him with the BAE versus part of the MLE.

If we go into the season with DDV as our best SG I will be one disappointed dude watching all 82+ games.

Surprising thing about Wood was that he was 3rd among PFs last year in DRPM. He can do a lot of things, and if he continues to play like last year, we'd eventually be ecstatic to have his Bird rights.

He's coming off an awful year. He's a minimum guy for a smart team.

Does the "ring chaser discount" not apply to the Bucks any more? Do players not see the Bucks as title contenders?
