If money is the problem Bucks can still offer up to 4y/67-68 mil in a double s/t with Sterling or Pat (6mil starting salary) instead of Ersan (and without James involved).

For Sacramento Bogdan will count 8,5 (his 2019 salary) which allows them to take back 13,5 mil from Pat (6mil) + Donte (3mil) + Wilson (4,5mil).

For Milwaukee Pat will count half his new contract (3mil) + Donte (3mil) + Wilson (4,5mil) = 10,5 mil which is enough to offer Bogdan 15,5 mil starting salary.

With the 5% raises this leads to a 4/67. Bogdan is reported to aim for a 4/72. I know Serbs don't like to leave money on the table, but this is too close.

Karma is not coming for Bron or the Lakers, but yet another NBA championship likely is.

As for Bron the "man," he revealed his true character when he sold out the people of Hong Kong because it might negatively impact his "brand" (and thus his $$$$$$$$) in Communist China.

He may well be the greatest basketball player of his time (and on his way to another title), but in taking his show on the road to South Beach and Hollywood and instructing the little people that they needed to get "educated" about the suppression of the people of Hong Kong he exposed himself as just another dumb jock in a league designed to showcase the "premiere" franchises ... none of which exist in cold weather flyover country.

Take this to the bank. Lebron and the lakers will crumble thIs year. That dude is one crooked bastard

I don't hate Hill, but I think he got overvalued on this board. I'm willing to bet good money the 2019-20 George Hill is a <15 mpg, <38%3 guy next year. He's going to be 35 by next year's playoffs and he declined as the year went on last year. He's not the type of player I want to get too attached to in a defining year.

He is slightly overpaid...but a solid player. Maybe overvalued a bit, he isn't what he once was.

Holliday is definitely an upgrade at PG...a legit All-star

I'd be in for Fournier, the problem is we have nothing to give at this point. No way I'm doing DDV for him.

Yeah, I don't think his contract is bad at all. In a vacuum, if we could get him back for 1/9m I wouldn't mind it. I just don't think he is player you hold up a trade for a starter.

The fact we gave up all that draft capital and didn't also get back Hart or Ball is ridiculous.

Is it possible to do two simultaneous sign and trades with two teams?

Something like:

Middleton and filler to Denver

Porter Jr and filler to Sacto

Bogdan, Bjelica, Jerami Grant, Monte Morris to Milwaukee

Morris
Holiday
Bogdan
Giannis
Brooke

Grant
DDV
Bjelica

Can we honestly believe this ownership group is going to go into the luxury tax? And pass up being a taker of that system and become a giver? Especially without Bogdan in the fold.

I just can't get the negativity out of my head.

Could plan B be taking a shot at Oladipo. Take a risk on him in a contract year. Definitely an all-in move. Donte+DJ+2nd Rd pick, might need to sign a 2/3yr Sterling brown contract to make the $$$ work as well. DDV is definitely safer than Oladipo, this would be a very Bucks panic move though.

It’ll be insane when Bogdan signs in LAL for the same deal we had in place and we all find it we were Lebron’d the whole time. Should make for entertaining reality tv.

https://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/260400/Giannis-Antetokounmpo-Participated-In-Recruiting-Bogdan-Bogdanovic-To-Bucks

Giannis Antetokounmpo was active in recruiting Bogdan Bogdanovic to join the Milwaukee Bucks in a now infamous proposed sign-and-trade that all parties have walked away from, according to a report from Sam Amick and Eric Nehm of The Athletic.

The Athletic reports Antetokounmpo's involvement was "widely known."

Bogdanovic had a number of concerns even before word spread that the NBA would investigate the matter.

Sources close to Bogdanovic insist that there was no agreement on his part and that were a communication breakdown. Bogdanovic was caught off-guard when news broke just after 7:00 AM on Tuesday in Serbia that he would be joining the Bucks.

So basically we couldn't get him the money he wanted or knows is out there from other teams, that's some kind of special relationship he must have with Giannis lol. If he wanted to be here he would be here. At least until the league stepped in or however they were going to screw us there.

If this was the case, the who so excitedly leaked a "finalized deal" to Woj? Either that was BS or it was Bogdan's agent at this point, right?

Return to Milwaukee Bucks
