Being the spiteful pos I am, if I were the owner of the Kings, and Bogdan cost me a pick. I'd match and park his ass on the bench.

So we gotta move on. Names that we could get are olandipo, fournier, burks, hield, Ross.

That's because your job isn't playing basketball.

Exactly. We need to dispense with the narratives that professional sports are comparable to "regular" jobs.

In no other job is there 1 singular winner and 29 losers. If winning is someone's prime interest, then a rich contract versus a rich contract shouldn't be the deciding factor.

I think you are naive to think that winning matters more to most players than money does. Most dont get a huge deal and those that do may get one or two and thats it. They dont have this child like affection for the lore of the league like we do. This is about getting theirs, i font care what they say in interviews.

Look at Bogdan. Chasing a 7 seed for an extra 3 mil a year and happy to do so.

The league at least needs to put MKE v ATL on opening night now. That buildup would be epic.

I'm guessing you don't have a problem with super teams, then. Because that's the most conducive to winning, anyway. Hell, if Giannis is only about winning, he should toss the super max aside and just wait to sign with Miami or form a super team elsewhere.

It's never just about "winning" with any of these guys. Salary matters, too. The proof is staring you in the face - Bogdan didn't come here reportedly because he wanted a better contract from another team.

Right, that's my conclusion. It's rarely about winning; always about the cheese.

My original point is reports are making it sound like he had zero interest in playing in Milwaukee. Him and Giannis can’t be tight at all.

The thing is, there's no guarantee a player will win a championship, even if he goes to a super team. A player can get injured; they might meet a better-coached team that matches up with them, whatever.
The money is guaranteed.

Cut to Giannis and Buddy having fun and joking back and forth while the Bucks throttle the Kings.

Would be perfect as I don't think Bogi and Buddy get along

Because Buddy is a tool who would consider himself option 1a if he joined the Bucks. Hell no.

A tool who can shoot 40% on 3's shooting about 10 of them a game

And just maybe based off what we've seen with this Bogdan situation, he is the douche and not Buddy....just maybe

Kings were just linked to Whiteside, so we know they want a center.

Would we have to trade BroLo for Buddy? Or how could we make that happen contractually?

Noting these questions are totally aside from whether it’d actually be worth it since we have no big men.

Exactly we're talking about them being douches but I would take both in a heartbeat lol. Maybe Bucks need a douchebag, too many nice guys

Its not just the money... why not go somewhere where he can take 13-15 shots a game, instead of coming to MKE and be forever known as the 4th option to Giannis/Khris/Jrue.

He's not a 35 year old ring chaser with $100m in the bank, he's 28 and now is the time for him to both make his money and his mark as a player.

Man... Imagine being sacramento. They just lost their Brogdan and got nothing. And what they were getting was way better than #24 in a weak draft.

**** christ... I guess perspective is everything
