We desperately need shooting and so far this offseason this front office drafts a guard who shot 38% from the field and then first move in FA is signing a fringe player who shot 34% from the field. These clowns just have to go already, I cannot take another year of these two bozos.

22 games is a very small sample size for college. We need scoring, Cole Anthony may be able to do just that.

Bacon also had a prior year of shooting 47/43, so it can either work out or not.

I'm assuming we're done for tonight. We still have about three weeks or so till training camp though, so hopefully we make more signings or a trade or two before then. Either that, or give Fultz, Anthony, and Okeke a lot of responsibilites/playing time and I'll be okay heading into the season.

I’ve seen us run shooting lineups of DJ/Fournier/Ross/AG/Vuc and get absolutely wrecked !

We need scoring !

Our shooters get punked in the playoffs when defenders get physical and lock down, we’ve seen it two years in a row now

We've gotten a little more athletic in the backcourt. I'm really intrigued by the 2-way player, Mane.

I'm pretty convinced that this roster is almost set. Weltman isn't bullchitting us when he says that he likes this team. He also has completely different views on spacing && the forward position than us fans (&& most other NBA teams) do. I would not expect any major moves. Maybe something minor for a backup SG or SF, but that I'm not even confident about.

I could easily see a world where they start Ross at 2 this year and move Fournier back to SF && use Anthony in the sixth man/spark plug off the bench role offensively.

G: Fultz/Anthony
G: Ross/Bacon
F: Fournier/Aminu/Okeke/Bacon
F: Gordon/Okeke/Aminu/Clark
C: Vucevic/Birch/Bamba

I think we absolutely should be making a trade for an SF but I know Weltman's delusions of grandeur when it comes to this roster.

No, it doesn't. In fairness though, it hasn't made sense at any point during the 3 years he's been here either. I've just accepted the reality that it's probably never going to with him at the helm.

I think we're pretty much done as well. Still holding out hope though.

I don't see Ross starting on this team. He's pretty much the one that wants to be on the bench. He clearly loves coming in as a score first bench player. If Fournier moves to the 3, it's most likely for Bacon or Anthony to start.

If I were to bet on the opening night starting lineup, I really would bet on:

PG: Fultz
SG: Fournier
SF: Gordon
PF: Aminu
C: Vucevic

I know it's vomit inducing, but that's really what I think will happen.

Waiting to see the players they “add” as opposed to who could have been the 45th pick. Weltman is full of **** with that “valuable roster spots” statement.

Add it to the list of stupid things he’s made excuses about.

How these guys think Bacon is more valuable than say Jay Scrubb is beyond me or a whole list of other guys drafted between 45-60
