I like him quite a bit as a backup option... a true low risk, high reward type signing. I guess we will know soon if there is any truth to this.

you pick him 20th, then a little later, you ask him to take the year off to aid ACL injury prevention.
Couple of years later, you let him go at 22 years old.

I don't trust any of these rumours of us chasing specific guys - our FA doesn't leak at all. Even WOJ didn't know our pick until Silver was at the podium.

Woods seems like a guy who is about to get overpaid based on brief inflated stats on a trash team with no other options.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Raptors playing in Tampa gives incentive to Serge to stick around for the season. I believe his daughter still lives in Florida.

His per minute numbers are awesome, but the fact that Detroit is signing every big in the league right now but won't give this guy a contract, and their fans don't seem to mind, makes me really weary of the guy.
