Bets on where sam presti is this year? I'm going for Wyoming whispering sweet nothings into Nik Stauskus's ear.
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

I would still take a shot on Harry Giles.

Terrible news. Worse than the KD to the Warriors signing.

Seriously speaking, no team could have matched anything close to 20m/year in a S&T

In defense of all 29 other teams, it’s kind of a ridiculous overpay at gallo’s age.

He was playing well with the Clippers but another player that benefit from our rehab process.

guess teams prefer to pay a fortune to a FA than give up a FRP for a way better player

Yeah...Atlanta is crazy. I also hate the fit (lack of defense)

I guess they can afford it and we may make the same kind of deals if we end up with 2/3 great players under rookie contract

He tore his Achilles and almost doubled his pay. I like Portland but their gm does one smart thing w/ covington and then just craps down his leg with this and kanter.

these 13 players all have guaranteed 20-21 salaries:

al horford
steven adams
shai gilgeous-alexander
lu dort
darius bazley
hamidou diallo
ty jerome
jalen lecque
isaiah roby
vincent poirier
admirial schofield
mike muscala
james johnson

if you add poku and theo maledon, that's 15 roster spots taken up. and one two-way with josh hall.

it would be uncharacteristic for sam presti to go into the season without an open roster spot. i'm guessing there are either more moves coming, one of these scrubby minimum guys will be included in a trade that hasn't been completed yet (horford deal), or maybe james johnson is bought out. or maybe maledon and / or poku will remain in europe this season.

in any case it's hard to believe this is the roster heading into the season.

I think I’m wrong. I thought I read that but it must have been a rumor.

Is there some combination of Collins, Reddish, Huerter, and picks that you would accept for SGA?

Not like he's untouchable but I think it'd take a lot more than those dudes to get him.
