I love Gallinari on a contender, that’s a big contract for a vet with a bad back, on a team that is a long shot to be top 5 in the east.

Kind of like the early market. It’s a lot of big money and frankly overpays. Gives me some confidence that secondary market should be stronger than I expected.

Were people particularly high on Wes before he suited up for us? Did anyone think he was gonna be this important wing defender and floor spacer? I'm feeling pretty down right now about our offseason but one silver lining is that Bud is really, really good at wringing production out of older journeyman types. I trust in Horst/Bud to find someone that can more or less replace what he gave us. Bazemore is a great example of one of those guys, good call Baddy.

Lakers fans will be complaining about Wes a few games into the season.

If ATL gets Bogdan as well, they'll score 120 a game. They'll probably allow just as much but they'll be fun.

So much depends on what you wanted Wes for. As a starting two or even part of your top 7, he was washed. If he would be sort of a 9th-10th man guy, he'd be great. Lakers obviously promised him more time.
