I'm not particularly fond of Tuner and I feel very strongly we should tank this season, but if we are insisting on making some solid low risk win-now moves, then you could do a lot worse than signing Bogdonavic for the 4/72 contract hes apparently looking for (which is pretty damn reasonable), trading Rozier for Turner, and signing Ersan Ilyasova to a short deal.

Graham/Monk/Riller
Bogs/Melo
Miles/Martin
PJ/Ersan
Turner/Zeller/Carey

That is such a good team. I think we would be a playoff team.

Prediction: Do we sign or trade for anyone tonight to fill our cap space? Or will we play the waiting game?

Also, who is your bold prediction signing around the league?

So with the Pistons signing Plumlee, I'm not sure what Wood's market is? Detroit has his rights and is one of 4 teams with capspace to sign him. The others:

Atlanta: just drafted Okongwu
New York: Mitchell Robinson
Charlotte???

Though I suppose a sign-and-trade is still possible.

And now Detroit has also signed Okafor.

I didn't see Wood play at all last year, so I worry he might be fools gold, but he was productive and is still fairly young. I'd probably be down to take a shot at him. The only veteran guard that doesn't suck at all on Detroit is Rose and hes injury prone, so a Rozier for Wood sign and trade could be interesting. Might seem weird when we could probably just sign him outright, but it preserves all our future cap flexibility. If Detroit planned on letting Wood walk anyways than we might be able to get some further compensation out of them if they actually want Rozier, similar to the Kemba/Rozier s&t we did last year.

Wood is a model of efficiency and analytics love him. He hits threes and loves dunking. He has great hands and can go up and get lobs. He'd fit perfectly here. If he doesn't have a market he should be ours!

Why retain Christian Wood when you can sign Okafor and Plumlee, lol. Embarrassing.

Fox deserved that deal. He's one of my favorite young players in the league.

They obviously know he wants out. Hope he would be open to coming back here. Our city is cool and warm.

Wood was the king of empty stats. With Detroit down by 10+, he'd come in the game and score in bunches. I don't really like his playing style, would much rather get Willie Cauley-Stein.
