Major move. You can start him at the 3 or package Collins, cap space and one of the young wings for a star wing in a trade

Didn't anticipate this one--does not fit the age profile of what Schlenk had said explicitly he would be seeking. I like it. He's certainly a do-it-all guy on the offensive end, and would seem to still have something in the tank. I don't love it b/c I really feel decidedly less concerned about our offensive deficits than I do our defensive. And he's not really regarded as anything more than an JAG defensively.

Seems like if we sign Bogi tomorrow there’s a trade on the horizon. I guess Gallo can definitely shoot, so that’s not a bad thing since Trae will get him open looks.

I haven't really followed his career. Has he played much at the 3? If so he will most definitely be the starter and also backup Collins at the 4 as well.

Played 3 most of his career in Denver with Faried at and others at the 4. Played the 3 in LA with Tobias Harris and Blake Griffin at 4. He’s fine at the 3, but better at the 4. Ship out Snell, one of the kids and salary for Westbrook and you’re done.

Capela is going to be in a lot of early foul trouble playing with Trae, JC and Gallo...

Whispers are that a Bogdanovic offer sheet is on deck.

Kind of the same response from me if that happens. I'm concerned about our defense.

We must have a big trade in the works to shuttle some talent, right? It's nice to have young talent but we have a lot of it and 60m starts.

Not this again. We have zero reason to have anything to do with Westbrook and his insane contract.

Yeah the number Gallo signed is what’s baffling to me. Did we REALLY need him THAT bad?

The deal is good value.
20m per seems to be fair value. I expected him to receive 18-20m per season.

With the Wood deal falling through, this deal may be the best value thus far. I like it though agree that the team's defense is something that probably needs work. Hopefully Cam and Hunter takes some steps this offseason and season to help shore that up.

I think they are just trying to do whatever they can with what is available. Since Hayward snubbed us Gallo must have been plan B.
