I have officially talked myself into Hayward for 2 years $50M.

Tough to do, right? It took me a minute but once I let everything settle I realized he hasn’t missed as many games I thought and he’s putting up like 18/4/7 as a 4th option so I got to thinking he could be his Utah self on our squad.

Sending out a healthy lineup of Trae, GH, Cam/Dre, Collins, and Capela is a playoff lock.

2/50M sounds fantastic, the only problem is he wants a longer deal.

With Danilo Gallinari and possibly Bogdan Bogdanovic signing tomorrow I don't see Hayward being signed. I have moved on and don't expect it to happen. Indiana seems like an ideal spot for him unless a silent team emerges.

I won't be surprised if a third team gets involved and Victor Oladipo gets traded.

A big reason I was hoping... and yeah, I suppose still hoping... to see Hayward join the kettle... you really don't even need a back-up PG b/c he is so good as a ball distributor, and is arguably among the best "point forwards" in the league.
