Rod Beard’s a clown. He doesn’t know anything. He’s just not stupid enough to believe we are going to have a roster with 6 centers on it so he’s posting cryptic messages of the obvious.

lol why do we have beat writers posting cryptic tweets

Weaver is going to have to turn Dedmon, Stewart and Drose into Hayward for any of this to make sense.

Are we trading Blake, Dedmon, Stewart and Drose plus picks for Curry?

Rod Beard is also notoriously a shill for the Pistons' FO. Everything they do is great and not worth criticism. He was the biggest apologist all the years of us going all in to chase the 8th seed.

What does Houston have to add to the deal though? With their current situation, I highly doubt they would add any of the precious few picks they still have control over. They also don't really have any interesting players to throw in.

I guess they could add extra protections, on the already heavily protected Detroit 1st coming their way.

I don’t think Beard “knows” what’s going down. He just sees our roster full of centers and knows it won’t be the end product. Rod beard knows nothing before the big national guys.

No I think he knows something.

Guess we will see soon. He’s acting like it’s big..

His gif implies that we will see the sense in all of this.

If it’s a sign and trade - Who knows what we are after.

If Wood signs that 27million contract Weaver is absolutely dead to me. That is absurd.

I’m hanging onto the fact that the pistons website has only Hayes and bey on the roster as far as rookies. Only the result of the Luke/Bruce trade on the roster. Same with the instagram

Sooooo, Weaver is holding off on the Stewart/Ariza trade because...why?

Russ or harden getting moved and we’re the third team that facilitates?

This hope of a further big trade for the Rockets offers no solace either. I sure as hell don't want Westbrook and I don't think I even want Harden. I want a honest to goodness rebuild with homegrown talent. Beyond those two, what does Houston even have that would be enticing for us?

More like Wood / Dedman / Rose for Westbrook.
