I wish I could say I was kidding about the money.

I like the player but holy cow is this an overpay.

Trade chip. Might bring us in a first with a bad contract.

Wtf is going on here?

There is no way we're committing $60 mil to Jerami Grant.

SVG is even laughing.

Something tells me weaver was in charge of the draft and stefanski is in charge of free agency. None of this makes and damn sense.

Why couldn’t we just do this and re-sign Wood? No need for Okafor/Plumlee at all.

Josh Jackson is fine....assuming he got a small deal anyway

God, everything is just so bizarre. Troy Weaver is either a genius beyond all our abilities to perceive or just throwing **** at the wall and seeing what sticks.

How is this even possible? Do Pistons have a special cap sheet? 20 a year?

Hot damn that is so much... he is a solid starter but $20 million per year for him is trash we would have been better off with Wood for less. He is the type of player you would be happy to get at like 3 years $36 million because NO ONE ELSE would pay him above MLE so you have to pay a little extra to get him to come to Detroit.

He also is going to prevent us from bottoming out and he also likely means we're going to have to stretch Ariza and Dedmon which is trash for us to lose that capspace down the road.

Are you just genuinely not processing that he simply didn’t want to be here?

But yeah. This ones bad. I’m legitimately upset now.

I think stretching Ariza and Dedmon gets us there.

You have got to be **** kidding me.
Comments to rationalize bad contracts -
1) It's less than the MLE
2) He can be traded later
3) It's only __% of the cap
4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years
6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy

I still don't think we are done. Blake has to be going to the knicks with Rose. How bizarre
