Looks aside, he’s a way better player than TT. Jokic raped him, cool. Besides that he had a really high level season.

Yeah I've talked myself into it since making that post. Unlike most I wasn't swayed by his bubble outing

I'm legit confused. He isn't a defensive big like Dwight. He isn't a floor spacer like Marc or Ibaka. He is a pick and roll scorer....that is why we have AD

Bruh wha

What you mean?

Who is guarding Jokic now?

Where is Boogie going now?

I really don’t get this move

Im reacting to the move lol

So with montrez honestly it could be a good move, but the fit is so odd

Im not sure how he'll function in the team but hes very good at what he does and he wont be guarding bigs with AD on the court, its just what he does is like, not really what we need atm lol

Like someone else said, the contract is really good. 19/2? If he plays at a similar level to last season it’s a bargain.

Let’s see how the chips fall but this might be the best available option. Brogdons getting 20 per and Serge might demand more we’ll see.

Wings looking bare though. Wonder what kcp wants

Lets keep in mind for the mle from a talent perspective harrell winning 6moty was fair, and his defensive shortcomings arent as bad in our team

Our bench is gonna be insane, but he doesnt fit with the starters that much so its odd.

Would preferred marc or ibaka for sure tho, but harrell is better than the mle and im curious if his defense is act super bad or only bad because of the position he was in (maybe hes an ok wing defender idk)

If he pulls up with a jumper hes our third guy tho lol

The fit is odd but I trust Bron, Davis, and Vogel to make it work.

At the end of the day, he took a price cut so that at least means he's all in.

LeBron has a rich history of maximizing limited Centers. I dont see an issue.

Could be a trade chip maybe at deadline?

But I doubt Klutch would set him up for that

Our defense is taking big hits, I don’t get it

Dwight, DG and Avery were key pieces

KCP can’t be lost

I wonder what else we got in mind

Maybe McGee moving?

NOOOOOO WHAT THE F***. What a terrible signing are you kidding me. This dude Montrezl is straight buttcheeks oh my God. He's gonna literally cost us games with his defense in the playoffs my God. I'll never come around to this being a good signing. This guys gonna ruin the whole goddamn identity. He literally even seems like a s*** human being from the way he and PatBev conducted themselves. F*** this signing. I think this is absolutely a Ggigantic goddamn L for the Lakers

Vogel pulled Dwight and Vale when they needed to be also Bron is not dumb.

If it's obvious that Trezz is hurting them in a playoff game he has the power to tell him to sit.

Harrell's not a bad defender tho. He's obviously bad in the Jokic matchup, but he moves his feet extremely well for a big man, contests shots at the rim despite his size and can guard wings on switches very well.

Nah f*** this signing lol. He's a loser we don't need that on the Lakers. It's fun being petty or whatever but he's not a 16 game player, straight up. And if he's not gonna be helpful in the playoffs why in the world would you sign him for that money and not someone like Ibaka who actually impacts defensively and can space the floor.

Mcgee's spot absolutely needs to be upgraded for more shooting or big man defense. With Dwight gone there's no room for a big with little utility. Trez puts pressure on the team to hide his weaknesses at frontcourt. Ibaka, Gasol or both are now a must

I wonder how much he left on the table. Lots of guys getting paid and he had a great season.
