The Stewart trade is not official.

I’m hoping that there is more to the Ariza and Dedmon trades that bring some clarity to what’s going on

Well considering we just took a legit good player in FA with money we don’t have, I’d say we are trying to build an actual team and not tank.

Don’t think we are done. Have a feeling Westbrook is a possibility.

I dunno man. I was right there with you until the Grant signing.

Now I’m settling back into accepting that the 12 year nightmare that has been this team is extending itself.

We sign-and-trade Wood on a 3 year $41 million deal and sign Grant for 3 years $60 million. Crazy day for sure.

Needs to be a S&T as Houston could only offer full MLE. Does Detroit get that heavily protected FRP back?

Deal becomes Christian Wood for Trevor Ariza and #16 (Isaiah Stewart)?

When you do a sign and trade, don’t you have to be traded alone? Or has that changed?

Been watching the Pistons since before the bad boys were called bad boys. With that being said, this is the craziest off-season in our history and it’s not over yet

Not sure if it will end up being crazy in a good way but this has got to be some sort of record for most trades and free agent signings made by a GM in their first off season.

Unfortunately, it seems as though we've gone from creating a clean slate within a couple of years to being saddled once again with a treadmill team that doesn't seem to have the umph to truly compete for years to come.

So what was the benefit of doing a S&T with Rockets for Wood?

We took on Ariza. That was done. Why did we help the Rockets get Wood. Did Weaver do that for nothing?

Well on the plus side at least BG/CV signed for 90 mil total over 5 years. This deals are shorter and we look primed to be a bottom 5 team at least.
