So I guess this will be a super fun order of operations type thing for Detroit. S&T with Denver for Plumlee and Grant. S&T with Houston to get them Wood. Their multitude of other deals.

Seeing the kind of money that’s getting thrown around (for the kind of players that are getting it) I think I’d be ok with the Mavs waiting and see what big falls through the cracks. There’s not a clear “3rd Star” out there to be had for the Mavs so I’m ok with them holding onto their cap space until one does become available. With the short training camp the best asset the Mavs could have is continuity.

So Melo to the Lakers is probably happening at some point too right? Let him ring chase on a stacked team and hang with his buddy Bron. Don't see going back to Portland now and I don't know if the playing time in NYK is enough of an appeal to get him.

Didn't they finally get off the Josh Smith deal this year or the one before? They're probably conditioned.
