Malik Beasley and the Wolves have agreed to a 4-year, $60M deal.

Beasley was a restricted free agent and could've scanned the market for an offer sheet but the Wolves didn't want to waste any time. He fits perfectly in Minnesota for their 3-point heavy offense and had an incredible stretch to end last season, averaging 20.7 points, 3.5 treys, 5.1 boards and 1.9 dimes on 47.2% shooting from the field. There are a lot of mouths to feed on that roster that includes Anthony Edwards, Karl-Anthony Towns and D'Angelo Russell, but the Wolves obviously intend to give Beasley the green light from beyond the arc. He still has some legal issues to sort out from an alarming off-court incident so we'll be keeping tabs on that.

This disappoints me. I really wish we could have gotten this guy on a bargain deal instead of Bogdan.

John Wall wants out of Washington .

In the aftermath of his being the subject of trade rumors in which he'd be sent to Houston in exchange for Russell Westbrook, John Wall wants to be traded according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.

Well this is quite the development. Wall's reported declaration comes about a week after Westbrook was reported to want out of Houston. The issue regarding Wall is the fact that he's returning from a ruptured Achilles tendon, and he isn't expected to play in both ends of back-to-backs this season. Given his contract this won't be an easy trade for Wizards GM Tommy Sheppard to construct, but he'll need to figure something out.

I don't think it does but they at least finally did something. He should be a general for the team and keep the team focused. He won't out up with any BS.

The Jazz and Donovan Mitchell have agreed to a five-year extension worth up to $195 million ($163 million minimum) according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

Mitchell receiving the full rookie max extension amount comes as no surprise, as he's an essential part of the team's plans both in the immediate future and long-term. The question now is Rudy Gobert, and whether or not Utah looks to give him a max contract as well.

Seriously, if they gave that to Mitchell, and don't give it to Gobert, they are not evaluating correctly their team ;-)
I'm sure Gobert would be happy with less money as long as the Jazz has a contender roster, but if that's not the case, and they clearly set Mitchell higher than Gobert, it will be the time to try to trade for him.
Trae and him would destroy any defense, and on the other side of court, he's the best defensive C in the league

From the NY post  The poor writers are delusional.

The Knicks continued to use veteran journeyman Ed Davis to gather assets.

Acquired last week from Utah along with two second-round picks as sweetener, Davis’ $5 million pact was shipped to Minnesota for another future second-round pick, sweet-shooting big man Omari Spellman and Jacob Evans.
