Detroit did not have money to pay Jerami Grant 20 million a season. Some speculation that it could be a sign and trade with Denver.

Maybe Plumlee and Grant for Blake? Not sure, but what they did is illegal so far.

Christian Wood signed for more than Houston had available as well. Could be a huge three way deal with Houston, Detroit and Denver.

Ariza deal was not finalized.

Pistons new GM is wasting no time making his imprint.

The best thing about free agency so far is we aren’t paying stupid prices for role players and other teams are

The Bertans deal doesnt surprise me that much. Hes only 27 and has made 345/810(42.6%) of his 3pt attempts over the last two years. 16 mil per year is maybe a tad high for a 5 year deal, but I don't think its crazy. I think the main suspect thing about it is that its questionable whether or not they should be in win-now mode with the John Wall situation looking like a potential disaster.

That Jarami Grant deal is pretty wild, though. Hes a nice player, but shouldn't be making any more than like 12 mil per year and there is really no point for Detroit to be paying a premium for a defensive role player.

Beasley's deal also looks fairly bad. He at least has the talent to potentially live up to his contract, but its pretty risky to pay him a long term deal that big with all the question marks surrounding his future.

Jordan Clarkson getting 4/52 is just pure lol.

Bogdonavic asking for 4/72 actually looks fair given some of these other deals.

Looks like we are trading space for some of these bad contracts and draft picks next offseason

Stupid prices? Zeller makes more than Harrell and Wood and you want to talk about stupid prices?

Yep, there's going to be major buyer's remorse on these deals pretty quickly.

All the more reason to not make the same mistake again before the existing mistake exits our roster.

Centers are a bargain right now compared to when Cody signed. Mitch is trying. I give him that. He's been patient. I thought Wood would fall into our laps.

Kupchak offered WCS and Harrell. He pursued Drummond, Gasol and possibly Capela. He's been linked to Myles Turner.

I'm done with Cody Zeller. It's torture at this point!
