Rich get richer. I'd be a spiteful GM, I'd never deal with the champs.
Not so fast. They lose defence with Green gone, Bradley opting out, Rondo moving on, maybe losing KCP and Dwights shot blocking gone.
They won a ring last year with an absolutely brutal supporting cast IMO. This years version is light years better. Barring a Lebron/AD injury, I'm pretty sure they win it again.

If Wall does get traded to the Rockets, will this change Beal's mind about staying in Washington? Stayed in Washington just to watch Wall sit on the bench the last two years.

I'm not sure if getting into an arms race with conference/league rivals is the most rational thing to do.
Yes...it might be time to acknowledge that the window for winning is closing.
if we lose out on FVV and Ibaka, maybe try to do some S&Ts to get something in return...then it's probably time to trade Lowry for picks and fully start the rebuild
my only problem with a rebuild is that it wouldn't be an attractive situation for Giannis to join...the Heat or Mavs would be much more plug and play ready
If Serge wants Brooklyn...sign and trade to bring back either Dinwidde OR Prince AND Jarrett Allen would be ideal. Prefer Dinwiddie because he has a player option next offseason which he probably opts out of.
If Fred wants Chicago...sign and trade Porter and Wendell Carter Jr. for Fred and Stan Johnson or Pat McCaw would be ideal. Porter is a massive expiring and we keep Wendell as the center of the future.

Exactly...all other clutch clients get paid!!!! except the ones that go to help Lebron!
how the h*ll does Montrezll get paid the same as Derrick Jones???

I want to see a tweet just once where it is reported that the team desperately wants out, because you know they do. I guess "aggressively shopping" is the closest it gets.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?
Please advise….

Depending on what we got back for FVV and Ibaka, we still have some good young pieces. We just don't have that piece that will take us over the top. We'd either have to trade for it (which isn't as appealing) or sign for it. Lowry could still stick around. Losing FVV and Ibaka aren't the end of the world like a lot of people make it seem. I get the attachment to the two of them but realistically, even with them we aren't a contender.

LOL Wall is such a little bitch. Why is he crying that the Wizard want to build around Wall? Wall hasn't been healthy in 2 years. Dude hasn't touched a basketball in two year and he wants out? Wall is the new team cancer.

We should just go hard after Harden man. OG’s getting a huge raise after seeing these contracts. OG will be at min 20 Mil. We cant sustain a team with these bloated contracts
