Kuzma + McGee + Caruso + a pick.

Lakers have cap space right now with only LeBron, Caruso, Kuzma, McGee, and THT under contract.

And AD and KCP cap holds?

It's the kinda money VanVleet should be making as well.

but we have to outbid ourselves for vanvleet

It's crazy to me how some of our fans think he's worth $25+ million a year.

If your team want Fred at that number all power to you. I hope Masai don't match or give him that kinda money.

AD and KCP cap holds don't count on the cap?

Even counting their cap holds, Lakers salaries total up to only 92 mil, more than enough space to S&T Bogdanovic.

Brogdon signed a 85/4 contract last year, but he probably is a better player than Bogdanovic, so ... ?
I think it is pretty fair, there are certainly tons of worse contracts in the league. I wonder what kind of impact Corona will have on all the new contracts?

Lakers have cap space right now with only LeBron, Caruso, Kuzma, McGee, and THT under contract.

Lakers starting lineup:

Schroder
Bogdanovic
LeBron
AD
Howard(resign)
Shroder isn't starting. He will be coming off the bench.
Dwight may not get resigned since McGee opted in, unless it's for the vet minimum.

The Lakers need 2 shooting guards to start simultaneously, while LeBron will likely be running the Point Guard position.

No way, Schroder 100% starts. He was a better 3pt shooter than any Laker last season. They need him spacing the floor. They’re not paying him 15 mil to come off the bench

If not enough cap space Lakers can always S&T KCP in the deal or renounce him since they're getting Bogdanovic to take his spot.

Meh, I'm a bit disappointed. I wish Bogdan all the best, but I was hoping that he would play for a serious contender.

I don't think they have enough space even if they renounce him.
KCP(maybe +Kuzma) for Bogdan is the only way I see to make this deal.

For me, its more than the deserved, but with signings like Gallo, Harris and Bertans he can get this kind of money without much trouble. If I'm the Kings I let him go or look for a sign and trade to get some value back. I would stick with Buddy Hield and give the guy playing time, they got a high octane offense, and his lights out shooting fit very well, also Haliburton can develop in a very nice complementary piece with his passing and off the ball game.

With some of these deals being made right now, he should be getting 100M. If Atlanta does sign him to an offer sheet, Kings should automatically match it and ask for DeAndre Hunter. Otherwise I'd hold on to him and trade him later on if he still wants to leave.

I dont think he ever wanted to leave TBH. I think he wanted to get re-signed the question is do the Kings want him back, and is he still willing to come back after the fiasco this week.

I think if he signs 4/72 its an instant match.

Even after the Hawks signed Gallo they still have 25 million in cap space. But where are the minutes going to come for all these guys?

Capela/Okongwu/Collins/Gallo/Hunter/Reddish/Snell//Bogdan/Huerter/Trea/Teague?

That's 11 guys right there. Even if you cut Snell out the rotation, you have guys who need heavy minutes. Idk how thats going to work out. You are right that we should be asking for something good back here.

This is the main reason I don't think we should settle for whatever teams offer for him. Hard telling what him and his agent are telling the Kings, but if he does happen to want out right now, I think his mind will change during the course of the season, especially if Hield gets traded. If he doesn't want to stay by mid-season, sell him to the highest bidder. He's locked up and teams can't low-ball us.

I'm with you. Bring him back, call Atlanta or NYK and offer Buddy for free. Make it happen Monte!
