Hayward has a lot of miles on his body

but he'd still be in his prime if he stays healthy for 3-4 years.

Makes other players better.
average defender
efficient scorer
can score at every level
can handle the ball some

he'd fit well next to RJ and Obi and Mitch

Absolutely frightening we put this much effort into Hayward. He' opted out in Boston. He said his preferred spot is Indy. Indy (allegedly offered Turner) and got nowhere. We are being played. Why wouldn't Boston take that deal? Hayward is decent but why are we investing so much time in this with lower years if he wants Indy? How can we possibly think Haymard would be good for RJ's development? Is Hayward gonna accept a Korver role? For that coin? If we come away with this dude, Leon got taken.

he doesn’t have to be in the Korver roll to be good for RJs development. And honestly if RJ can’t play with other talented ball handlers he’s not gunna be worth investing in. He should get familiar with now

Does anybody remember Oakley's jumper? The quirky baseline shot he picked up during his career?

Mitch has a 3ball like that to come, it may not be pretty but it will serve a purpose to create some space for himself in the paint.

As soon as someone shows they can stop him from scoring inside, he hit an all time best FG% last season, then he will step outside.

Bostons system isn't for everyone and there was just too many guys that needed the ball in their hands to maximize Gordon's overall game. He just wasn't a fit. And he's not the only guy thats hasn't fit. Kylie didn't fit and Kimball also has looked a bit awkward.
